3. PM Dawn...I know they aren't really R & B, but that "I'd Die Without You" song put them on my Honorable Mention list. I played that song OUT!

Damn!! I forgot about Blackstreet too! I don't care what yawl say TROOP was SORRY!!! But if yawl like em (cuz yawl keep mentioning them with true Balladeers) I support yawls statement. But I would like to mention a group that no one has mentioned. This group never gets props, but has to be one of the tightest groups out there--MINT CONDITION!

TROOP!

Recently I was sitting at the crib and New Jack City came on. I was watching and had forgotten that Troop had a cameo singing around the trash can. I'll admit they sounded pretty good acapella(sp?). But still NOT WITH THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!

My Favorite...

My list of favorites:

Isley Brothers

Temptations!!!!!
Hi Five (Kissing Game...c'mon, don't sleep)
Shai
Isley Brothers

That's about it for me.

Two more...

How could I forget about...

...Bell Biv Devoe AND New Edition. They were definitely one of the greatest. Other than that, I believe that Blackstreet was about the hottest R & B group. At one point, all of their songs were the bomb. "Buy Me Love," "Before I Let You Go," etc. They were phenomenal men!

delph998 01-09-2002 01:13 PM

One LAST thing...

Mint Condition: The epitome of a REAL band! How could I leave them out when they live in my city! They're definitely the bomb. And Jagged Edge is the bomb too. My list is constantly increasing...

thesweetestone 03-16-2002 03:24 AM

I can't believe no one said N'sync. Their song "gone" is straight R&B. :D

and 112

OneOneTwo 03-16-2002 04:51 PM

The OTHER four groups...

By now we ALL should know what group is the best, but since I can only name FIVE, I will name the next four instead...

2) Mint Condition
3) HI-FIVE
4) Tony Tone Toni (We have a thing for bands)
5) Jodeci

Aight, now you know...

112 - Bobo, Nucknuck, Cletus & Dem (and some other anonymous folks too).
