Hey Mizzou moms - any word on how prefs are going?

Just heard that my daughter's good friend is a beautiful new Theta at Mizzou!!! So happy for her - her Mom said it was her #1 all week.

Also heard that more than 300 girls dropped out yesterday - not sure whether or not that's true.

I keep checking back too! My daughter's sorority, KKG, selected 88 new members and treated them to hot air balloon rides on bid day! I heard about 400 PNMs dropped out along the way. I wonder if that is typical for the larger schools?

I was expecting quota to be around 100 this year with so many going through rush. I also heard that somewhere between 400 and 500 dropped this year, which really makes me sad! Sounds like it was a tough road for some. I wrote 2 recs this year, and both women found homes.

Some may have dropped hoping to be included in the Sigma Kappa colony. Sometimes a colony entices PNMs who aren't exactly thrilled with their schedules to think of going that route.
