I've witnessed many of you being sarcastic on here. And I figured that by saying a way in which I was drastically affected by the standards on my campus then following with "It obviously doesn't affect me at all" was a pretty obvious indicator of sarcasm.

PinkTurtles: 2 or 3 for all 3 campuses is good. And as for DZ, I'd try to get one from a non relative as well. Nothing against you and the aunts but all coming from family might not be a good thing. After all, why wouldn't all of you think she's great? The chapters prefer to hear from someone "independent."

Do family recs even count? I thought one would be considered a "Letter of Introduction," but a whole gaggle of them wouldn't hold as much weight as one or two recs from someone not related to the PNM.

I second the request! I know for my group anyone can fill out a Legacy Introduction Form but I'm pretty sure in practice it's mostly the family member of the PNM (and for some reason I almost wrote "bride" here - LOL my cube neighbor is getting married this weekend).

I'm so under-educated on recs, STILL.

As for southernbelleRANDOMSTRINGOFNUMBERS (how many times have we seen THAT name on GC?), perhaps prior to calling usernames out on being rude, one should take a look at whether or not calling someone racist for objecting to black face but not white face is appropriate?
