Here she is talking about formal recruitment and she talks about how she went through MULTIPLE times.
I can't believe she is giving out advice about recruitment if she didn't even join at the collegiate level.

I'm sure she appreciates all the publicity.

Took me only a minute to figure out who she is and you were right. Same person. You only got the area of CA wrong. Blog post is bs or covering tracks.

All I can say is this is really, really weird. I haven't gone to her blog but I would say this is one of the problems with the internet - anyone can say anything they want.

We did have an AI in my chapter. She was the daughter of a very prominent alum who - like the OP - had to change schools for financial reasons just before initiation and had done the pledge period, but never initiated. It meant a great deal to her to wear her mother's pin. They are both still active in the alum group and with the philanthropy. I know of one other AI that had done years of service with the philanthropy that the NPC group chose for AI in recognition of her service.

I have heard of NPC groups looking for AI's in areas where they are starting a new chapter to help build their alumnae base. These were not just anyone, but women who had distinguished themselves in the community already. This would not be that criteria.....

She lists herself as a public figure on Facebook and presents herself as an expert in her blog and videos. It is only natural for folks to want to verify her claims.
