Why freaky? Lots of people eat goat. I work with a guy who breeds goats, they're a meat breed too. He usually has a roast in the fall sometime too. I've not gone to try it though.

Goat cheese and Jamaican curry goat. :)

Oh, the fact that they ate goat wasn't what made them freaky. The freakiness was independent of the goatiness.

Goatiness is now my new favorite word.

This reminded me of the time the barn goat ate the check for my horseback riding lesson off of the tack box when I was getting the tack on the horse.

My mom said that the people at the bank had a good laugh when she called to cancel the check. :)

When my husband was younger, and they lived on a bunch of acres of land, they had a goat who would eat the areas they didn't have gardens or lawn. Saved on gas for a lawnmower. I don't think he had a name, though. What would you name a goat, anyway? I like the name Eduardo for a goat.

One time, I was at a petting zoo and there was a big sign on the goat pen that said "Do not feed the goats." A goat stuck his head through the fence and ate it. That was the highlight of my day.

Why are people questioning your goat thread-starting motives? Enough weird things happen here without making you the scapegoat.

ba-dum-chh.

Bill or Billy, obviously!
