The power came back on in time for Skit Night at UofL, thank goodness! Tonight is Preference; I'm not sure total number of women still in recruitment, but will try to get some rough numbers. I know roughly 260 started Open House night, and there have been 10ish withdrawals each day, and I'm not sure how many women (if any) have been completely released.

Good luck tonight to all involved. Keep us posted - please.

I'm so glad the power is back on! Even with cooler temps, air conditioning was always most welcome during my years there as an active and later as an adviser. Good luck to all of the PNMs today!

Recruitment starts today at South Carolina. They are trying a new schedule this year. My daughter is on the other side for the first time. Good luck to the PNM's!

I think the number of PNMs going into Preference this evening at UofL was 207. Bids are distributed tomorrow at 4:00, and Zeta begins their recolonization in two weeks, I believe. I got to see all the groups skits last night, and I was reminded of how wonderful all the groups on campus are- we can't wait to add Zeta to the mix! Looking forward to posting good news for everyone tomorrow night...

A girl we know well is preffing at the 2 Macon Magnolia groups at a mid-sized university today! Good luck to her!

Three terrific girls from our neighborhood are starting college this fall, but two of them are going to schools with no Greek life. I forget where the 3rd one is attending, but she's a Chi O legacy through her older sister so we'll see...

Carnation...I hope you share with us later (who) and (where). It's killing me! I wish EVERYONE luck, though! I hope every PNM finds a home!

My cousin is going through at Eastern KY (last I knew this was her plan at least)
so I'm excited for her!

Bid day at Iowa State was today. I haven't heard any final numbers, but hopefully will soon.

Ah, she's sure to get a good group either way!

Pref Day at Nebraska. The local girls are scattered all over, liking different houses, which is a good thing. We were kind of previously only in one or two, which can break a few hearts because they ALL can't be in the same place! I hope they all find their happy place!

New format this year - they get bids tomorrow, Saturday. Previously today would have been bid day and they would have gone as a pledge class to the New Student Orientation at the stadium.

BTW all the houses are participating in formal rush this year.
