Day 2 of deliberations. I think the jury will come to a verdict today. *shrugs* We'll see. I'm laughing b/c one of the channels (HLN, I think) has a countdown clock as to how long the jury has been deliberating. At this point, it's been 7 hours & the commentators keep coming to remind you (in case you can't see the big countdown clock) as to how long they've been deliberating.

I still don't buy her "I'm innocent" act. Throwing her parents under the bus & trying to cast the blame on them through false allegations of molestation & cover-ups? Lying about working at Universal? Multiple stories to police? Zanny the non-existant nanny? Yah. That screams lying bitch to me.

I think she will be convicted with life in prison, but I would not be surprised if her attorney filed an appeal.

I agree. I don't think for one second they'll give her the death penalty but I do think she'll get life in prison. There is one juror that for the longest time kept saying he'd have a hard time giving anyone the death penalty regardless of their crime. Attitudes like that especially towards women who commit crimes makes me believe life in prison is what she'll get.

Yeah, her attorney will definitely file an appeal. It's standard.

Verdict reached. Will be announced in 30 minutes!

As soon as I saw your post, I clicked my TV back to the news & off of womens world cup soccer. Your thoughts?

I'm guessing Guilty of 2nd degree murder & guilty of some of the lesser counts like lying to the police, etc. As long as her ass goes to prison for life, I'll be ok with the decision. If she walks, I'm losing a lot of faith in the justice system.

I think she is guilty, but I dont think they will give her the death penalty either, so I agree with you. I just hope this doesnt turn in to another O.J. case.

From your mouth to God's ears. I truly hope it doesn't come to this.

BetteDavisEyes 07-05-2011 02:18 PM

Bullshit. What bullshit. She should have gotten 1st degree murder. What a fucking crock.

AnotherKD 07-05-2011 02:20 PM

Oh. My. God. Only providing false information?! Agreed- complete bullshit.

BetteDavisEyes 07-05-2011 02:23 PM

I am in complete shock. I cannot believe she got off on 1st degree murder. What a fucking joke. I am beyond pissed right now. This case has made a complete mockery of the justice system.

HannahXO 07-05-2011 02:23 PM

Ugh, I cannot believe this woman is actually going to walk free. And will the investigation even continue as to what "actually" happened to Caylee?

BetteDavisEyes 07-05-2011 02:25 PM

Mike just eloquently stated what we're all feeling. She just got away with murder.

Apparently it has. I expected the not guilty of 1st degree, but guilty ont he manslaughter. UNBELIEVABLE!

AnotherKD 07-05-2011 02:28 PM

What a poor girl (Caylee, NOT Casey) who will never get justice. It's heartbreaking.
