Who else went straight for this thread after reading AlphaFrog's post in the "Is GC a Thing of the Past" thread? ::raises hand::

....Ignoring the spammer....

I know I see certain posters talk about a thread or see that certain posters are the last post in a thread (especially on a subject they wouldn't normally comment on) and run straight for them.

MysticCat being the last poster on a thread in the Sorority Recruitment forum, for example.

This sounds like an excellent new GC game. Posts/Forum appearances you wouldn't expect from specific GCers.

Not to keep picking on MysticCat, but, for example:
Posted by MysticCat: "Bumping for later! :D:cool:;)" in the DRUNK! thread.

YES! DO IT!

I would, but starting threads is a pain on the phone.

^^ Okie-doke. Done.

Drop out. You are a drain on your sorority because you clearly don't like your chapter, and I will guarantee you that you will feel much better after you quit. As far as not being able to take advantage of networking, I call BS. You were a part of the greek system, and you can use that to your advantage for the rest of your life as it suits you. "I was an ABC!" "I was an XYZ!" It won't get you hired, but it makes for conversation.

So quit--- you are worried because you won't belong to an alumnae association or have a daughter who is a legacy when you graduate from college? Newsflash: very few alumnae are involved with their alumnae associations. I'm sure the GC police will step in and tell me they are VERY involved alumnae-- well good for them, but they are the minority.

If you regret it later on life, contact the headquarters to inquire into reinstatement procedures for membership.

Collegians, if you are coming on GC asking us "Should I quit?", the answer is invariably YES.

*Just trying to picture what the GC Police badge & uniform would look like.*

The badge would almost certainly have an alternating Opal/Diamond option. Now...white or yellow gold?

I'll be honest... I usually run straight for ANY thread that 33girl is the last to post on. I'm hoping it's a trainwreck and that she'll have posted a ridiculously blunt/sarcastic/entertaining comment. :D

*starts chant* QUIT! QUIT! QUIT! QUIT! *fist pump* Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Aw, thanks, girlfriend. :) The exception of course is anything in D & R, which if I'm posting in it probably means my own life is the trainwreck.

Badge: Five-pointed star surrounded by a circle. Engraved along the top arc of the circle: "GreekChat". Engraved along the bottom arc of the circle: "Police". White or yellow gold, member's choice. Gem options: plain; opal points on the star; pearl points on the star; diamond points on the star; opals along the edges of the star with diamond points; pearls along the edges of the star with diamond points; all diamonds (option available only to mods); double row of diamonds (option available only to supermods and site admin - think Theta's national president badge).

Uniform: Catsuit of the member's GLO color(s) - e.g. azure blue. Now you no longer have to worry about what to do with your azure blue catsuit once you've become an alum and are no longer attending initiations on a regular basis.

~~~~
To the OP: Just drop and have done with it. You'll be doing yourself and your chapter a favor.
Yea, I stay as far away from that forum as possible... Otherwise, I'd be creating a few threads myself that would keep GCers busy for days. LOL
