In addition to being a Law& Order junkie, I also LUV me some "Passions", even though the acting can be very awful at times, esp. from "Teresa"...Unfortunately, I am never able to watch the show now b/c I am in school...But I WILL catch up during X-mas break...

Another show I forgot about is "South Park"--those bad-a$$ kids crack me up!!!!! All that uneccesary foul language and exaggeration of everything is what makes it SOOOOO funny (but if I had kids, then I'd be saying something different, I suppose)...

I know this isn't a TV show, but I will watch almost anything that has to do with teenagers. Fun movies like:

Can't Hardly Wait
She's All That
Drive Me Crazy

Those are just three that I can think of right now that I will watch over and over. They are SO happy, lol.

I looooove Nick! I know it's a "kid's" channel, but I like the shows. Remember "My Brother and Me"?

I LOVE silly teen shows and movies like...

Heathers (rent it, if you've never seen it...it's hillarious)

Beverly Hills 90210 (when the show was on, I never missed a show. In college, my friends and I watched it together faithfully).

The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles - I consider them to be classics.

I'll also admit that in 7th and 8th grade, I was Duran Duran's #1 black fan! Y'all know the term "Duranie". I was one of them. My room was plastered with every John Taylor poster I could get my hands on.

I'll also admit that I also loved Depeche Mode, General Public and Tears For Fears.

I was the only black kid at a Catholic School. It's bound to happen when you gotta kick it with girls like "Mary Katherine" and about 10 "Jennifers" from preschool on up.

I'll also admit that I went through a time in 7th grade when all my white friends were cutting their hair really short with some shaved look on their sides. My mother said "HELL NO" and I tried to shave my sides myself with my dad's razor. I looked like a pure fool. My Mom wouldn't take me to the beauty shop to get that mess fixed either. I'll never forget when I did it a few days before the 4th of July and she made me go to the church picnic looking like that.

I spent $250 on *a* ticket to see Nsync in concert...
I watch every reality show out there...
I sleep with an Aladdin night light...
I framed my first gray hair...
I still rock out to New Kids On the Block (in the privacy of my own car)...
I love Iron Chef so much I bribed some co-worker for a seat at the Bobby Flay/Morimot battle in NYC (I do the websites for Food Network).

I love Nick too, and My Brother and Me was my show.:p

There's this new cooking show on E! and Style called "Nigella Bites" with a British woman, Nigella Lawson. She cracks me up. The show is shot at her home, and she's just talking to the camera.
She was smooshing garlic in her kitchen, and she made a crack about "using my considerable body weight" to apply pressure. Well, she's about a size 12, but that still had me LMAO.

Okay charmed fans...... help a sista out! Who is the new girl on charmed and how did she get written into the script? I saw the episode when she was trying to copy the book of shadows and nothing would copy but how she be in on the power of three if she's not one of the sisters? Is she a cousin or something?

1. Divorce Court-Judge Mablean is my girl! Her in-your-face motherly wit coupled with her legal knowledge makes her show one of my favorites. It also keeps me abreast of what folk are doing out there in the world of unbelievable marriages!!! :eek:

2. Sister, Sister: I can't believe that I watch this show again and again...but I do. I just love those Mowry twins! They remind me of me and my younger sister in an offbeat way!

3. Any of those stories on TLC...but the Wedding Story is my favorite. I always get emotional when my Black folk get on there!

4. Re-runs of the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. How come I sing the intro song every time the show starts? In West Philadelphia born and raised on the playground is where I spent most of my days, chilling out maxing outside of my school when a couple of guys, they were up to no good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I got into one little fight and my moms got scared...yadda yadda

5. City Guys. I watch this show while I'm eating my cereal on Saturday mornings. I really don't know why I watch this show, but come Saturday, I'll be parked right in front of my TV set.

6. Family Feud. I love when my folks win! I play along as if I were right there. How come I don't get the $10,000 at the end? :(

7. Weekly shows that I don't like to miss (but since I'm in grad school I miss them regularly): Frasier, Dr. Phil Tuesdays on Oprah, The West Wing, and Law and Order.

8. If I'm really chilling out, I'll watch Blind Date.
