Her songs are ridiculously out of touch with reality and if she really believes all that junk she's got unrealistic expectations, but I have a feeling she's actually just a smart girl that knows she's found her niche. Who knows...maybe he's an immature 30? I still don't think it'll last though. |

I doubt she's all that mature if she was recently "in love" with that Taylor boy that plays the werewolf in "Twilight." But...this is Hollywood.

Ok, another wedding etiquette question...although this its more of a "what would you do" type, because I'm pretty sure I know the "real" answer.
My daughter was just asked to be the flower girl in my (male) cousin's wedding. I've never met the bride, but my mom and daughter have several times. This is actually the bride's second wedding - her first marriage only lasted a few months, however my aunt has always wanted a daughter, and is very close with the bride, so she offered to "sponsor" the wedding. All this to say that whilethe bride will be picking out the dress and all that good stuff, she's not going to be ridiculously concerned with every detail being perfect, etc. So, my question for y'all is this: the wedding is the weekend after Easter, and since we will be purchasing the dress, would it be awful to let my daughter wear the dress for Easter (obviously, we'll plan on having it dry cleaned between, if needed)? I know the technical answer is no, it should not be worn before the wedding, but it seems silly and wasteful to purchase two fancy dresses for two weekends in a row that will be outgrown in 6 months. Also, we'll be going to Easter church here in NC, and the wedding is in western Tennessee, so the only people who will see the dress both weekends are my immediate family. |

I wore a bridesmaid's dress for a sorority formal before the wedding (the bride had us get them ridiculously early cause they were a hard to find style). Go for it, please!
If anyone has a problem with it - say they can jolly well buy your growing girl the extra dress. |
