I guess you'll appreciate this then - at the game Monday night, they were showing highlights from last season during time-outs. Ben showed up in one, and everyone - I mean the entire stadium - booed. Some dude behind me yelled "No means no!"

On the other hand, I saw a woman wearing his jersey and I sorta cringed.

We'll never know if he actually did sexually assault the woman in Lake Tahoe or Milledgeville. It's word against word. Granted, there were a lot of contradictions in the testimony of the supposed victims.

"Best" case scenario, he's falsely accused, BUT he's still putting himself in situations where he could be accused of such or where he could get into trouble other ways. He parties at Duquesne regularly. I have no idea why a 28 year-old 2 time Superbowl winning starting quarterback for a top tier NFL team feels the need to party with college students.

ANY other player would have been released from the Steelers for this, and you know the rest of the team have to think it is unfair. I'm anticipating locker room issues.

I know this guy will never disappoint me...

I'm all for innocent til proven guilty (I have no hate for Ben, either). But as you said, he's putting himself in bad situations. Is it arrogance or stupidity?

No fancy graphic readily available, but I was impressed with my Raiders. I think we might go 8-8 this season.

A good 98% of the Steeler Nation feel the same way. It amazes me that he's still on the team, knowing how strict the Rooneys are. It's been said that he is doing whatever it takes to make up for being such an idiot and still thinking he's the revered high school quarterback, but it's going to be a hard battle. Maybe he took me seriously when I wrote to the Steelers and suggested that all female fans be equipped with a staple gun, should Ben feel the need to try it again?

The Steeler Nation is like being greek - if you're in it, you can't explain it; if you're not in it, you don't understand it. Some will say it's like a religion, but I'm not comfortable with that analogy.

Event though Ben is a landesman of mine, I like Troy Polomalu & Hines Ward better.
