These are the houses I went to for pref round.

Ke$ha: This ceremony was really sweet and I felt the connection between these girls more than ever. I still can't really see myself in this house and don't really feel like myself here.

Diana Ross: This was a little different than the other houses because I was not paired up with a girl I met earlier in the week. I did like the girl I got though, and I felt like we clicked. We talked about fun and silly topics, but not really about sisterhood or the sorority. I like this house and might could see myself fitting in here.

Sarah McLachlan: I talked to the girls I met earlier in the week that I really loved. We had really good conversations about choosing a house and about how they felt about me. I told them that I felt that I could just be myself here, and they said that they felt I would be such an asset to the house and that they could tell that I really fit. I felt really at home here. Then my brother's girlfriend came to talk to me, and I was paired with her for the ceremony. We had a good talk and she told me I was there for a reason and that she was just one person and didn't want me to think that I was being invited back just because of her (addressing my previous worry). The ceremony was heartwarming and I left this house thrilled and hoping to join their sisterhood!

I ranked the houses:
1. Sarah McLachlan
2. Diana Ross
3. Ke$ha

Cant wait to see what happens!

Bid Day

So I didn't get a call on the morning of bid day, which I assumed meant I had a bid!! I was still really nervous and excited and hoped it was from Sarah McLachlan. The classes took my mind off it for awhile, but I started to get antsy after my classes ended, so I put in my favorite movie and watched it for awhile before getting ready. Then I got dressed and went to see which bid I would get. Our recruitment councilors revealed their affiliations (I guessed mine's correctly the first day. Haha.) and then put us in circles and placed bid cards in our hands. I was sooooo nervous and excited. They counted down and once they reached one I turned around to see a bid card from...

SARAH MCLACHLAN, otherwise known as
CHI OMEGA!!!!!

I was so, so SOOOOO happy! And, it turned out that two other girls in my group were new Chi O's, too!! I had such a great recruitment and am thrilled to be a baby hooty!

Oh, geez, sorry!! I was trying to write while talking to my mom, and we talked about my brother for a bit. I guess I just wrote the wrong thing! Haha. Whoops!
