In no particular order:
Bobby's World Boy Meets World Living Single Tiny Toon Adventures Full House |

Shows that I wish had just continued. IMO this was the last era where TV was just awesome: 1. The Cosby Show 2. A Different World 3. Living Single 4. Fresh Prince 5. Boy Meets World (this one had the best finale of the 5 IMO) Shows that were cancelled at the WORST possible place to leave off: 1. Family Matters (left off right before the big Laura/Steve wedding--NOT FAIR) 2. Popular (left off just as one of the main characters was about to get hit by a car) 3. Moesha (we never found out who was pregnant or if the kidnaped brother was found) |
1.) Star Trek
2.) Cosby Show 3.) Law & Order ( Original and SVU) 4.) Different World 5.) Tied- Dr. Who and Batman: The Animated Series |
garth- dr. who is still on the bbc america channel. it comes on saturday nights-a new doctor just took over.

Anyway, back to TV shows: The Odd Couple WKRP in Cincinnati TV Funhouse The Jetsons (the original series from the 60s only, obviously) Seinfeld (minus the truly awful final episode) Ditto PiKA2001's comment on Twin Peaks. Heather Graham, go away now. I loved Felicity when it was on but I find myself completely emotionally incapable of rewatching it. Same with Melrose Place. |

Anyway I'll look up Latow. ;) Y'all can go back to TV. |
Sex and the City
Gilmore Girls Friends Futurama Law and Order SVU |

Firefly Quantum Leap Star Trek (original) Alias MST 3000 (though if you are a fan, you know they still rift movies, just not tacky 20 year old movies.) Also on my list, Family Guy, Seinfeld, Futurama (Fox can't get it right, can they?) |
LOST (fave of all time)
The OC (hated the last season) The Unit (be still my heart, so many hot men...) Heroes (wish the writing would have been better towards the end, and now there's no finale) Chappelle Show (if you ever want the story of Dave Chappelle's visit to ONU as a part of Greek Week... PM me) Prison Break Wildfire Friends 90210 Fresh Prince Sex and the City the last 4... thank goodness for sydicated reruns! |
I never got into Lost or 24 (or Law & Order) so they aren't on my list.
My top 5 (I can only pick five?? AUGH!) would have to be: - Firefly - Babylon 5 - Stargate SG-1 (but only through season 8 - the Ori just weren't believable as "bad guys" compared to the Goa'uld, and the show just wasn't the same without the original SG-1 team) - Buffy - Star Trek: TNG There's also classic Doctor Who, which according to FSUZeta doesn't count as a completed series, because of New Who. :p To be fair, when Doctor Who went off the air in the 1980s, it wasn't wrapped up as neatly as, say, B5 or TNG, so the new series is really a continuation of the old series - the season numbers started over at 1, but the Doctor was in his ninth form (following his eighth regeneration). Then there are Quantum Leap, Farscape, Seven Days, The Avengers, The Prisoner, V (the original) ... And there will always be a soft spot in my heart for Star Trek: TOS. That was the very first science fiction TV series I ever watched... my sci-fi gateway drug :) |
