L&O has a habit of recycling actors for different roles, and I hate that because I've seen just about all of them at least once. Some of them, I can see the first 10 seconds and tell you what will happen in the next hour. The one that absolutely killed me, though, is the chick that plays Elliot's wife was in a fairly memorable L&O episode before she appeared on SVU, and her L&O character was executed for killing a cop.

I think I need help. I wonder if there are any L&O Anonymous groups out there, haha!!!

I do the exact same thing! It's bad too if you go to any shows in NYC because EVERYONE on Broadway has done L&O at some point. I'll sit through a show whispering to my husband or my friend, Wes, "Yeah, that's the guy that went crazy and killed the girl who was working with him at the mental clinic. He turned out to be a lawyer, and he defended himself once he got back on his meds."

And I know exactly what episode you're talking about. :-/

Speaking of crazy people, there's one chick that plays a girl who is crazy, on a bunch of meds, rich, and named Mercedes, and is somewhat of a main character in an episode. And she's a main character in another episode, where she is crazy again with multiple personality disorder. Talk about being pigeonholed.

I like most episodes- the ones that I can't stand are the "ripped from the headlines" bullcrap. Maybe that's another reason why I like the older ones better.

Didn't one of the ADAs appear as a rapists first? The redhead who's name escapes me. Novak?

A couple of the regulars first showed up as perps...one of the first female cops and one of the ADAs were prostitutes before they got the regular gigs.

Oh yeah, that was the sister-mama! She does play crazy a lot! I don't like the ripped from the headlines epi's either...you can figure them out too easily.

Yeah and one of the original L&Os ADAs was a stripper in law school before coming back as the ADA. Not as the same character :p

I blame this on NBC's poor, poor decision to give Jay Leno his 10 pm show. That move killed this show, which had been camped at 10 pm on Wednesdays for as long as I can remember. They hopelessly f'd up their lineup and in the process killed this show and probably SVU in the not-too-far future if they can't get it back to its regular schedule. What else does NBC have? 30 Rock is a great show but is suffering in ratings, and the Marriage Ref sucks (am I the only one who can't stand Jerry Seinfeld?) for the long-term. I see that they're bringing back Friday Night Lights, but it's been on such a long hiatus that I bet it's probably lost a lot of its fan base.

I like Stephanie March also. Sharon Stone has done a pretty good job on SUV. But I read in one of the Gossip Magazines a couple of months ago that Christopher Merloni will be leaving SUV after next season. It will be a huge setback if he did.

He was threatening to leave, but apparently they offered him more money and then he made a statement about like ha ha! just kidding! So he's good.
