Thinking about it more (from an advertising perspective), you need to define (for the sake of whatever you are working on), what the words "strong" and "survive" means.

Many strong people don't "survive" or succeed to an end point, whether you are talking about someone (literally) dying from a disease, not making it through boot camp or a marathon, or getting a high enough score on a test on the bar exam.
