I guess I'm glad that the UVA lacrosse teams decided to honor this young lady by finishing their winning seasons. Well, that was their press statement. There's irony in that because didn't the Duke lacrosse team...I kid! I kid. :D |

But, maybe, for the players involved, finishing the season would be the best decision in terms of honoring their slain fellow player and friend, and getting some closure; not to mention getting out there, and just for a bit, focussing on something other than this. It could be really helpful not just to the players, but to her family as well.
The decision will be up to them, and I'm sure there will be much prayerful soul searching about it. This whole thing just makes me sick. I cannot imagine the grief. :( |
