The Epsilon Chi chapter at Northeastern (in MA) got 38 new members! This brings them to 103 members, well above total which is 75.

Sorry to crash! I would have posted earlier, but at CSU East Bay, it was 2 am Sunday morning when we finished bid matching, and I carried my dead behind to bed!

Your Epsilon Alpha chapter (if that is the chapter at Cal State East Bay), did a bang up job. Quota was 28 and they matched 29 (including 1 legacy). It also put y'all at total!
Congrats!
/End crash

St. John's women did gain 9 new members which puts them at 25. They are hoping to gain at least 10 more members during Spring Recruitment (freshman are allowed to join then) in order to meet their installation recruitment goal of 35.

Eta Phi has 17 new members which puts them at a total of 38!! Soo proud of all the ladies

The advisory board for St. John's and Eta Phi are trying something new and have combined forces so they have 6 advisors with 2 more on the way!

Our chapters are doing so well! FANTASTIC to hear about CSU East Bay. I know that there have been so many concerns with the shakeups happening in the administration on campus. I wonder how Alpha Phi did?

As for St. Johns and Eta Phi - always fantastic to hear how amazing they are doing. :) They have been working sooo hard!

You could have just asked me! :) I am the recruitment adviser for the APhi chapter there :p
We did well. We matched 25 and are stepping up COB so we can fill the very few spots we have open so we can be at total. Sigma stepped it up this year and I called the recruitment adviser, who is a friend of mine, to give her congrats

This is the first time in YEARS either GLO has been at total

This year was a record year for PNMs!

sigmaceli 10-12-2009 10:25 PM

Haha, I didn't gather that much, for some reason! I'm so excited to hear about how East Bay has grown. I visited as a consultant last year and I know there were a great deal of concerns among Epsilon Alpha regarding the stability of the system what with all of the administrative changes going on.

Very happy to hear Alpha Phi and Tri Sigma made it happen! I'm sure you will make it to total and keep a stable, healthy and happy Greek system at CSUEB! :)

With both chapters, retention has always been a problem at CSU-EB. Many get homesick and leave school, esp if they are from SoCal. We all need to work on the retention issue

Johnson and Wales University in Providence just finished their formal recruitment. Quota was 17, Tri Sigma got 22!! So proud of these ladies!!

Ladies......If my undergraduate GPA is below the standard GPA requirement for membership (Grad Chapter) but my Graduate GPA is above the GPA requirement and I am currently enrolled in Graduate school, may I use my current GPA when being considered for membership by Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.????????

I don't think your GPA is going to matter when you put a question about Delta Sigma Theta in the Sigma Sigma Sigma forum.

Oh, and nice username. EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
