No one. It was the FIFTH birthday...and it wasn't the child's party. It was mommy's party.

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo glad this thread has been bumped. :) I absolutely LOVE this show.

I actually like Kyle. She doesn't seem fake like so many of the others. I think she is so beautiful, ... and her husband is one heck of a hunk, too! Why the producers are painting Kim as the dim-wit of the show is very interesting to me, though. LOLOL!!

Also, when I first started watching the show, I thought Adrienne was the trouble maker. Judging by how snappy she is with her husband, I just knew there would be no pleasing her, but she turned out to be the one who is the peacemaker. I really respect her a great deal.

For a while, I wondered why the heck Taylor was even on this show at all. I found her uninteresting to say the least, especially with her annoying-to-watch upper lip. But when she tore into Kim at the dinner table, I knew she was not one to mess with. I now view her as a very genuine person and experiences REAL emotions on he show. I feel the same way about Lisa, who is also a very supportive friend of everyone, but she manages to keep an even keel throughout all the drama surrounding her. I love the furry friends she has, too. They're so cuuuuuuuute. And, hands down, ... the woman has a figure to be envied. I want to look exactly like that when I get her age. :o

Now, Camille is a whole 'nother story altogether. I liked her in the beginning, but who can't tell that she's a bit TOO close to that guy friend (whatever his name is) who randomly stops by to see her every now and again. She said it right when she mentioned how much she cherishes all the men in her life. I'm sure she's doing more than cherishing them. LOL!!

Her disputes with Kyle are utterly ridiculous, and have no real point at all. If I hear "she verbally assaulted me" one more time, I'm going to throw my shoe at my flat-screen TV! She just says the same thing over and over again. She honestly believes that she is a nice, and kind, and friendly, and sweet person when what she REALLY is, is a FAKE person.

And that psychic friend of hers, Allison Dubois, is a nutcase. While it is not uncommon for psychics to be ridiculed as frauds, there is even MORE hype surrounding Allison Dubois, because even the psychic community has denounced Allison Dubois as authentic. She is an opportunist who will stop at nothing to be seen by the media (which is probably why she did the Housewives episode in the first place). Her comments like, "I can tell her when she will die and what will happen to her family ... " or "If one of their children went missing ..." are highly inappropriate for someone who is all about infusing love from The Other Side. And what the hell is an electronic cigarette??????!!! Are you SERIOUS?!?!

Fourth or fifth, Same difference. Its still stupid.

Sometimes the written word doesn't translate to the intention: I was being (or trying to be) silly and petulent. The whole party was totally inappropriate and really not done (much) here.

Kyle and Kim's sister is Kathy, who had her own reality show for a season. Kathy was/is a really nice person.

I do watch the show. It is a reality viewed throough a fiction lense. (Can't wait for the RHONY).

Does anyone else think that Camille's male friend is there to get face time with the camera? I feel like he is trying too hard to get an acting gig.

Yup ... All the visits, tennis practice, motorcycle rides, ... I mean, come on. Who can't tell this guy thinks he's a real looker. And the way Camille kisses him so romantically when he's leaving her home shows how close the two of them REALLY are.

On the over hand, her "husband" was busy in New York. Who knows what kind of marriage/arrangement they had? She had to be a true fool to think that she was the last and greatest love of his life. he has a string of relationships (and children) a mile long. It is called keeping one's options open. (Not my thing, but it is done all the time.)

"The Morally Corrupt Camille Donnatacci Grammers," Soft Porn Past http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/0..._n_805342.html

In Beverly Hills, appearance is everything. And now, thanks to her scorned castmates, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Camille Grammer will be forever seen as an erotic film star. "The Housewives discovered softporn pictures of Camille online and sent the links to everybody they know," an insider tells Life & Style.

In an e-mail chain obtained by Life & Style that was aptly titled "The Morally Corrupt Camille Donatacci Grammer," the Housewives sent around video stills of a topless Camille and a link to a description of her steamy soft-core career. As it turns out, not only did Camille pose nude in Playboy, but she also bared all in two erotic mid-'90s movies - Marilyn Chambers' Bedtime Stories and The Naked Detective. "The women started e-mailing the links to one another and writing the funniest comments," says the first insider. "They loved that several porn sites listed Camille as having an average body and looks and too-large boobs."

I don't like Kyle. She's always making rude/sarcastic remarks/expressions and then wonders why she doesn't get along with Camille? And if she's truly not the troublemaker, then shouldn't she be the bigger person and refuse to fight with her? Maybe it's the editing, but Camille never explodes, it's always Kyle.

Edit: All the things she said to Taylor tonight. "Does your husband not want to see you have fun?" That's a pretty mean thing to say when it seems really obvious that he's a homebody introvert.

I like Kyle, because she seems real to me, but I do agree with your comment. I have to wonder if Taylor was being really ridiculous about her husband. For him to be as much of an introvert as if he, I think it showed MOUNTAINS of support for her that even showed up for the white party AT ALL, and for him to stay as long as he DID showed even MORE!! I think he deserves some appreciation for that. She forgets that she married a man who has NEVER been that sociable of a person, and for her to pout and moan about it now is ridiculous.

I can't stand Camille or Kyle. I feel like telling them both to get the hell out of high school and knock off their ridiculous and childish fights. It's so stupid and they both need to grow up.

Taylor is irritating me because I agree that she's trying desperately to get her introverted husband to be a social butterfly. My own hubby is not really social so I don't like to put him in situations where I know he'll be uncomfortable. She's just dumb for complaining about how anti-social he is when she should have known he's like that BEFORE she married him.

Really, Lisa and Adrienne are the two housewives I like.

Me, too! When this show first began, I honestly thought Adrienne was gonna be the problem, because of how snappy she is with her husband, but she turned out to be the level-headed one. And I love, Love, LOVE Lisa! She is such a beautiful woman inside and out. She genuinely cares about everyone. I love her doggies, and how wonderful her relationship is with her husband.

I still can't get over the crazy psychic, Allison, repeating over and over again to Kyle, "You're nothing ... you're nothing ... You're all washed up ... you've done nothing." I just thought that was horrible, cruel and totally uncalled for.

rhoyaltempest 01-10-2011 06:49 PM

I think some of you are missing the point when it comes to Taylor's feelings about her husband. First, her husband is not anti-social. People who are TRULY anti-social don't socialize, period and especially if they don't have to. Being introverted does not mean being anti-social. It just means that you thrive better by yourself than you do in the company of others and vice-versa for extroverts. I'm an introvert and I am often labeled "anti-social" incorrectly. There are times when I want to be around others (hence being in a sorority) but I enjoy being by myself more.

Anyway, I don't think Taylor has a huge issue with her hubby not being very social but rather that he is not affectionate and loving with her. Being affectionate with your spouse or mate and not being very social have nothing to do with eachother. Taylor's husband either isn't that into her and views his marriage as a business proposition or shows his affection in other ways. Either way, Taylor was okay with how he was in the beginning but now that's not enough. She wants a loving relationship and I don't see her hubby giving her this, so she'll have to move on if she wants that kind of relationship and she should, if that's what she needs in her life.
