I must admit though, that if Miami wins out, they deserve the number one spot. They had a tough schedule this year.

Michigan will be in there-somewhere.

LSU WILL LOSE TONIGHT; HA HA HA!

Wolverine fan also. Should have had the game against washington but put on a great showing against Illinois. Who do you think will win the big ten this year?

The Original Ape 10-05-2001 05:05 PM

Who?

It aint no doubt who will win it: Michigan of course. They are the best big ten school.

And YOU'RE RIGHT; THEY SHOULDA BEAT THE SHYT OUTTA WASHINGTON!!!

Thrillhouse 10-05-2001 09:49 PM

Beat them from one end of the field to the other minus those two damn lucky breaks that they had.

BCS

Did you see how the BCS screwed MIAMI again! No. 3? how? They are the #1 team in the country, always have been. How in the hell do they end up behind Oklahoma and UCLA? That BCS is straight BS

The Original Ape 10-26-2001 07:10 PM

BS

Eh Dex,

I tend to agree wit chu on dat bruh! Miami and Oklahoma both play a pretty tough schedule; so they(BCS) should use a different criteria considering. I would support a defense performance criteria too: something like a points-yelded/margin-of-victory-over-a ranked opponent-category.

I think both defense and offense as well as record should calculate more than just record and stregnth of schedule. Who's fault is it that other teams in your conference don't have as much talent as yours? i would love to see a playoff system in effect.

The Original Ape 10-26-2001 10:10 PM

Playoff system.

That's THE ONLY WAY to determine which team is the true Collegiate National Champion. I do disagree with somethin' you said. Strength of schedule should be THE DETERMINING FACTOR in who's number one because as you know, some national powerhouses avoid all of the proven programs and opt for them mediocre ones. Yo boys play a tough schedule THIS year; but in past years, they had no one to worry about. Notre Dame annually plays a tough shedule. Their team has been down for the last 4 years; and if they had went undefeated(as much as I hate 'em), I would've thought they deserve the number one ranking. Everybody's running from the proven programs.

The Game

I hope you're watching the game. Oklahoma's defense is IN CONCERT on Nebraska! I don't know Dex; the SOONERS look like they they'd OWN miami!:D

See you in Pasadena!!

The Original Ape 11-02-2001 09:44 PM

I tried ta tell ya!

Although Michigan is my team and they're havin' a down year, Oklahoma looks for real. They broke down against Nebraska, and it may have costed them; but I still believe it's really between them and Miami. Miami has the softer schedule, but they seem legit. Oklahoma is HARD BOYEEE!

Our Alma Mater

Old Grambling, dear Grambling,
We love thee, dear old Grambling
We're loyal to thee, our dear old School,
We'll fight for thee for evermore.
And when life's game is fought and won,
The hills will ring with victory's song.
Old Grambling, dear Grambling,
We love thee, dear old Grambling.

Old Grambling, dear Grambling,
We love thee, dear old Grambling
Long may thee stand 'til all the land
Has felt the worth of thy great hand.
And when thy sons to battle go,
The hills will ring from shore to shore.
Old Grambling, dear Grambling,
We love thee, dear Old Grambling.

Eh Bruh,

Yo boys aint looking so superior now, are dey?
I aint rubbin' it in; I'm just hopin' you recognize how some days roll around where NOBODY on the team feels like blockin' or tacklin'-know what I mean? They won; but not as big as the numba one team in the country shoulda.
