The Hangover; it looks pretty funny.

Little32 05-29-2009 12:42 PM

After hearing a review, I think I want to see up. I will probably go and see it when I get back.

Posting after myself again :)

Now that I have seen the preview, I think that I want to see G. I. Joe too.

I just read the book Precious, so I could go see the movie this week...it had a lot going on.

I read the book years ago - and really want to see it. I may have to catch it on bootleg cause umm, a sista is broke.

ROFL...the country is broke. I'm sure there is already a convo going on about the book and probably the movie but how close to the book you think the movie will go? Man....that book had a lot going on!

LOL you aint ever lie! i dunno, my bosses seem to be recession-proof. meanwhile im picking and choosing on my expenses.

I hope that the movie goes IN like the book did. I think Monique will do her part justice. Im looking forward to seeing how the lead does (though, IMO, size aside, she looks too Hollywood for me, i imagined Precious to look a little rougher. interesting as the woman - Gabourney Sidibe, 26 - is from Harlem).

We must work for the same company...my boss mentioned going skiing for Thanksgiving with his new jump-off. I was like damn....all I wanna do is see is my mama :D!

I saw the movie trailer before I read the book so all I had was her as the image of Precious. If I see it before you...I'll hit you with a thumbs up or down...lol!

I just came from seeing it-i posted in the "feel like saying" thread but yes. Great movie. I was indifferent to Paula Patton playing Ms. Rain, but Monique and Mariah were great.

I was cool with Paula Patton as Ms. Rain. Going to see it in Times Sq was something different.....man!

G-Kue 1911 01-09-2010 12:39 PM

What did you think of the movie...I want to see it but haven't heard much about it?
