LOL :)

So, yeah, I was singing a song. The only reference to you was your dreadlocks. You aren't a Buffalo Solider, either, but you aren't pissing over that.

I tried to ask you respectfully.

Thank you for showing me you have none..

'night

That's like ASS-uming that each and every person that has locks are from the West Indies when in reality they span as far reaching and far back as Indian sikhs and Khemet.

Read up on your hair man...

But fine...we are done here...if you feel like you need a further explanation, feel free to contact me directly.

SHIT. I wonder what it means to wear a bob. Better read up on my hair!!!

When I went to Jamaica, they played Buffalo Soldier every night. We all had fun singing it.

And this from the person who thinks that M.E. people who wears red bandanas are automatically terrorists and won't get caught dead on an elevator.

The last person that should be trying to make fun of someone's culture.

Thank you for your 2 cents.

And while you were in Jamaica did you enjoy getting your hair twisted and braided and fitting in with the locals and drinking 'real' Jamaican rum?

and hitting the ganga, mon?

Did you meet Dexter St. Jaque while you were there too?

And if you knew how to read, non-Rasta-mon, you'd have seen that I said they weren't bandanas. Ass of Jack. And I don't go in elevators because I'm claustrophobic. Once again a jackass comment from you.

People make fun of my culture all the time. Didn't you know that I'm mafiosa?

And yes when I went to Jamaica I enjoyed getting my hair braided because it was cool and I didn't have to do my hair everyday. Plus the lady doing my braids made some money off of me. Woopity doo.

I have no clue who Dexter St. Jaque are, but I did hit that ganja.

Question.... I was on a step team that gave each other nicknames. One of the girls was nicknamed Mafiosa. Would you have found that offensive?

(For what it's worth, she was biracial -- Italian and black -- and I believe she chose it for herself)

ETA: I'm asking because I'm truly curious in general and not being snarky about it.

And you didn't return to the States thinking you were of the African diaspora or even Jamaican because of your hair? How dare you. :)

No. Because there are all different types of Mafias... Sicilian, Chinese, Russian, etc. Mafiosa is just how you say female Mafia member in Italian/Sicilian. Now what does offend me is the rapper Gotti. When he went on the show Growing Up Gotti and asked Victoria permission to use the name, I thought she should have said no. I don't know why she would want her family's name associated with that kinda of rap, even though her family's name was known for the mafia and killing people.

And look how long it took you to backpeddle to cover your own assinine statements up...

To review:
I do too. Because why is it necessary to wear a shirt, in Arabic that many people cannot understand, that says "We will not be silent". Who is "we" and why won't you "be silent"? What is the silence about? That shit just makes people nervous and I'm sorry, call me racist but if I was at an airport and saw someone, whatever they look like Arab or not, wearing this shirt I'd be nervous.

My mixed feelings come from the way he was treated. Yes I think he did it for attention. No I don't think he should have been treated the way he was. I love having freedom of speech but I think sometimes people take it too far.

Out of curiosity, how would you feel if he was wearing one of those red bandana things around his head like the terrorists put on right before they took the planes over? Would that make you nervous or would you feel like "I don't wana racially profile".

Heh...no clue...you got that right.

Actually I did. I went around calling everyone "mon" and spoke with a Jamaica accent.

No I didn't. It was a fun trip though!

And again, Jackass, did you read the rest of the thread where myself and I forgot who were going back and forth on the description of the red thing and I said it wasn't a bandana?

No matter how you look at it, you're an idiot. Pretty much everyone on here thinks so, including people who used to be chummy with you.

And guess what? We all know you went to the inauguration. Stop bragging about it. You don't need to create multiple threads with your pictures and opinions. Get over it.

and you are a racist so there ya go...par for the course.

You forgot? No, about 5 people had to explain to you why what you said was so wrong on so many levels.

AND then the flip flop began....

and you must really think I give a shit.

And do you KNOW WHY Gotti offended you.

BECAUSE he as NO CLUE on what a GOTTI is and most of the clowns I have seen walking around with a John Gotti T shirt HAS NO CLUE of who he is what he was capable of and....who he didn't like.
