I know that it's tough to get cut from places you thought you were really into, but I'd advise you to go into the rest of your rush with an open mind. I know that I was really torn between two sororities when I went through rush, and pref night really changed my mind! Pref nights are so special and I advise going to all of them, even if you think it's not for you. You never know until you finish it out what can be right or wrong. Best of luck :)

ok, well i went to pick up my invites for pref this morning and i got invited back to all 3, kappa delta, ADPi, and sigma kappa... i still am really only interested in KD, but i'll be going to both KD and sigma kappa's pref parties tonight... i'm really looking forward to it, so wish me luck- we find out our bids tomorrow at around 3:30... update you guys later

ok, just a quick update- i went to both pref parties and had a great time at both, but when it came time to sign the card, i could only put down KD... i loved the sigma K girls, but i just wouldn't feel at home there... so I'll be finding out soon, thank you guys for all your support, it's meants so much to me :)

hey guys, well- i got the call this morning- i did not match... so yeah, that's it- i'm still eligible for snap bidding and COB, but this is just really depressing... i talked to my rho chi this morning, and it turns out she was in the house i wanted (KD)... i really sad right now but i'll be okay- turns out my rho chi suicided 2 years in a rho and didn't get a bid, and then got KD through COB... well, i guess that's my update- i'll talk to you guys later

I am so sad for you and I want to give you the same advice I gave Sunny: do not give up. Rush is weird and you never know what happens behind the scenes. Please, please go register for COB! Quotas are expanded and house totals aren't reached...go for it! A lot of people on this board turned a negative rush experience into a pledge pin!
