SHEETCAKE thinks these parents have a case of the dumb. However, SHEETCAKE is still pretty sure the name should have gone on the cake. SHEETCAKE is feeling libertarian these days.

This may be me, but I still find it a little sad that the kids were removed from the home. I'm always sad about it, though, because it's not the ideal outcome. Of course, ideally, these kids wouldn't have had such nutters for parents. Poor kids.

yeah it's always sad for the kids, but I think they will be better off without their Scottish-American pretending to be German Nationalist dad.

If the family were actually German, I might might be able to see their point, but this is just stupid.

The kids belong with their parents. According to the local news the state did not give a reason for taking the kids but said there was no abuse.

I say make the damn cake for the kid. It's the least that they can do for him considering all the bullying and torture he'll endure in upcoming years.

We don't even know why the kids were taken away--there was no history of abuse, according a Social Services worker.

To think that it was *just* because of the name indicates lazy thinking.
