I don't know - it kinda looks like it...but those wall hangings aren't actually a part of the set, nor are they in the "suggested coordinates" :(

And the other is one of the pink and brown sets

I just found out that my daughter's having a girl! She's due about 2 weeks after you, Winnibug. I love these nurseries! Could you tell us what catalogs they're from?

FSUZeta 11-24-2008 06:59 PM

Congrats, C! Which daughter was it again? The elder AOII?

carnation 11-24-2008 09:41 PM

Yes, the baby will be an AOII/Pi Phi legacy! :)

Winnibug, your taste is exquisite and I'm emailing a link to this thread to my daughter! FSUZeta, I'm off to the Pottery Barn site too!

The deeper purple one in your first post is probably my fave.

I love that one as well!! I also like the one next to it (the polka dot one) and the Ladybug one below it.

Beautiful colors, it's girly without the blaring/blinding pink.

Although I preference more primary colors for nurseries (red ladybugs), I have to say this is very attractive. The quilt could be used as a throw at the bottom of a twin too. I could see these accessories working for a few additional years. I am super practical though.

Oh, how fun! Until I learned that I'd be having a boy, I was browsing the Lilly Pulitzer website for nursery fabric ideas. Oh well!

If I had one piece of advice to give, it would be to choose something that can transition to a toddler room or older. I'm really glad that we went with bright blues and red with a lot of sporty items and plaid, because now that he's 3 we don't have to re-do the room, and won't need to for a while. It's not too baby-ish. (My brother in law and his wife are having a boy, and they have a sage green nursery with an alphabet border -- but then again they didn't ask me!)

Had I been able to buy pink, this would have been my pick:

I just checked out JC Penney's, because I can remember starting to buy a set there. They have some of the same ones you've shown, only on sale. It won't allow me to copy & paste, but there's one towards the bottom called "My Baby Sam that I like.

It looks as if the entire nursery collection is on sale there!

I think I'm leaning towards Mulberry, Tiger Lilly and Blossom

EEKappa 11-25-2008 01:54 PM

Just remembered something -- in our Caring For Your Newborn class, we were told not to use a crib bumper due to the possibility of suffocation. After hearing this we were so fearful that we didn't get one. Has anyone else heard this?

That Tiger Lilly is sweet!

icelandelf 11-25-2008 02:18 PM

I like Tiger Lilly too.
