That's funny, all you've done is flame. And you sure tossed plenty of stones, which were subsequently deleted by the moderator of this forum because they were personal attacks and totally uncalled for.

I formed my opinion on DOC way before I ever read any of the posts Corina made. If you believe one person on GC has that much power and influence, then you're nuts.

Your posts are totally hypocritical. Part of me wishes that the moderator didn't delete your attacking posts, so then everyone could see for themselves. All you have done since coming to this board is try to spread propaganda about DOC being misunderstood and how they're not all that bad, etc. Look in the mirror at your own actions.

AND- hopefully this hijack of probably THE best thread on GC can end soon.

corina, I just wanted to let you know that while I have not been around throughout this entire thread, I read it all in one sitting and have just been amazed at you. In places that you have persevered, I would have given up. You are such a strong, amazing lady and I wish you and the NBO's the best of luck in whatever you decide to do!

First off, I'm totally not stressed about the earlier drama. I said what I had to say, and that's all that matters to me at this point. Still no word from Theta Nu Xi re the declaration of interest packet :( I'm going to email her again I suppose. Otherwise, things are ok. We should be getting our rush plans finalized at some point soon. Life is kinda hard for me at this point, but NBO seems to be doing just fine. Everything else will follow suit I'm sure. More later if anything of significance happens. Thank you all again for your support and advice!

First of all, let me say that your whole story is awesome. Being a founder of a chapter myself, I completely understand the challenges you've faced, especially group dynamics, becoming established at your school, and figuring out how your sorority should run. I can see on Greek Chat that the challenges of founding happen to everyone, even though it seems at the time like you're the only one. You've done a great job.

Hopefully finding a national will give you the support you need to continue to grow and be able to finally relax and enjoy what you've built. It won't solve all your problems, but it really does take some of the pressure off of you, and gives you some great national sisters.

It sounds like you're really happy with finding Theta Nu Xi, and I wish you a congrats and the best of luck with that!

However, just in case things don't work out or anything, please feel free to check out the website of my national, www.kappabetagamma.org. We're a Non-NPC group, but we are very similar to many of them in our ideals. We only have collegiate groups, and we aren't geared specifically towards professional or cultural aims...and we've been around since 1917 so we have an established alumni base and staying power. It's worth checking it out!

I'm not sure if you've heard anything or not. We are in the mist of getting ready for our National Convention. It's next weekend so I'm sure she's a bit stressed. Hi everyone,

Like has been crazy hectic recently! We moved, and I'm looking for a new job, and trying to get rush under control is always fun. I delegated some responsibilities and my fabulous sister Wendy has gotten the Theta Nu Xi stuff taken care of! I'm so happy about that, I kept pushing it to the back burner because I had so much other stuff going on, and it needed to be dealt with. So now we wait til they're done with convention, and hopefully we'll hear from them soon. Other than that, we have super cute rush shirts ordered (if you look at greek101.com, on their screen print design page, on the new designs page, click on page M down at the bottom, and then look at the bottom row, second column from the right (art483). Above and below the picture it's going to say:

They're going to be so cute! And we have cds that we're giving out to rushees, so the theme plays out throughout all of rush. I'm really excited. Other than that...not too much going on. We're still doing alright, and hopefully this will be a good rush for us!

Theta Nu Xi's national board approved NBO for expansion! Yay yay yay yay yay yay! I'm so excited and so proud of myself and all my sisters, especially Wendy, who coordinated this whole thing and took over for me when I had to delegate some responsibilities. She really made it all happen, and I'm just amazed that what we've been working so hard on is now coming true! Thanks again everyone for your support and encouragement! :D :D :D

I really wanted to post this information when Wendy called me last night, but I didn't want to steal Corina's thunder!!! Yay!!! I am so so excited!!! I am so proud of myself and all of my sisters, and I am especially proud of Corina, Wendy (I love you big sis!!) and Liz for working their butts off as founding sisters so that the rest of us could have a chance at attaining something so great!!!
