Plus, as I believe was mentioned before, I'm not likely to be interviewed by another 23 year old. The people "judging" my appearance are more likely to be in their 30s 40s or 50s. And in my office the majority of people are 30-40 anyway.

Why? Do you think stylists to the young adult celebrities are 20-somethings?

And are the top designers 20-somethings?

Do you think only people in their 20's know what looks good on 20-somethings?

No, but then again, they HAVE A SENSE OF FASHION. Sorry, from your posts in other threads giving advice on what to wear, I just don't find you to have a good sense of fashion. Keepin' it real, homes.

I just think it's really odd when someone in their 40s or 50s seems to be very interested in what 20-somethings are wearing.

Ok

1. I always wanted to be Chuck E. I wouldn't diss those in the costume... they could probably kick your ass with the huge Chuck E. feet.

2. Flip flops have become fashion... at least up here in Michigan. Maybe some people wouldn't wear them to church, but I would. I'd rather see someone in cute flip flops (not like beachy/poolside ones) than in 80s style pumps that seem to be "in" nowadays.

3. Crocs. Those are those clog looking shoes made of plastic or rubber right? If so, I think they are hideous. Are they really that comfortable though? Because if so, I might have to look into getting them for work. Right now I'll try anything.

Everyone who wears them swears that they are the most comfortable thing in the world. I tried on a pair once to see what the big deal is, and I don't get it, but yea they are comfortable. I swear it seems like all of the doctors and nurses in the hospital seem to have a pair.

Yea they are pretty comfy. I tried on a pair at DSW once to see what all the hoopla was about.. but I didn't buy any. I bought some cute pumps instead :)

As much as judging people is a hobby of mine, I work very hard to not do it when it comes to church. I am happy I'm there, they are there, and that Baby Jesus loves all of us equally. I really think it is contradicting and hypocritical to mock people when it come to their worshipping, and if I am doing that perhaps I need to do more Bible study or listen closer to the sermon. Seriously, how does anyone know if Jesus wouldn't come into the sanctuary in acid washed jeans, crocs, a Members Only jacket and a t-shirt from some vacation spot?

To get it back to the thread's topic, take an extra few minutes to put on REAL clothes instead of pyjama pants, lounge pants (especially velour), track suits or anything like that if you're going out. You never know who you may meet and you will not be remembered for your hot pink JUICY sweatsuit.

Jesus wore sandals. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind if we did too!

If it wasn't for the fact that it would ruin the theme of my sig, I would put this quote there. Maybe I'll make it my location.
