Man claims R. Kelly beat him and stole his song idea

CHICAGO (AP) — A man describing himself as a "mentor and guide" to R. Kelly since he was a teenager is suing the singer, alleging that he attacked him and reneged on an agreement to pay him for a song idea.

In a suit filed Wednesday, Henry "Love" Vaughn says he's worked for Kelly off and on for years.

The suit says that in February he went to Kelly's suburban Olympia Fields home to watch a basketball game and that one of Kelly's other employees became "verbally abusive." It goes on to allege that Kelly, 39, and others dragged him to the basement, attacked him and held him against his will.

I think it is funny how it is being reported about Toni as well. I saw her show in Vegas in August and she shared with the audience that "Deezy" as she calls him was autistic. She actually brought both of her kids, "Denny" and "Deezy" and hubby out and said that she loved working in Vegas because it gave her the free time during the day to be with her kids and give him all the attention he needs but she could still perform at night.

Yeah, I saw the photos of the alleged kis on another board as well. But a still photo does not always tell the whole story so it is hard to say what was really going down. Either way, it's her business. I just like to hear her sing.

I heard the show was great. My hair dresser was out there last week and caught it. I wanted to go, but I have opted to go to L.A. and see Tyler Perry's new play instead in a couple of weeks.

Remember the actor who played Ebe' (Thelma's African prince on Good Times)? He passed away recently due to lung cancer at the age of 72. :eek: That means he was 40 or so when he was on Good Times.
