Don't call me about your computer being slow. Yes, it is slow. So is mine. Our capital request was denied so there are no new computers. We are screwed. There is nothing I can do. Talk to your boss who bought 5 very expensive laptops for her people with one of her "pots of money" because we could have bought 10 PCs for that money. If they deny our capital request for next year, it's only going to get worse. So, get used to it.

If you aren't taking the entire team to lunch, don't mention it to the entire team. You have several pissed off people working today. I told you four months ago I was going to transfer. You said you were going to help. Do not blame me for going to your assistant for help. He is the one who trained me. You should have taught him how to transfer someone while you are teaching him to be a manager and now he is supposed to be fully trained. So while I am on the floor helping people, DO NOT come up to me you snobby brat to tell me this is all my fault, that there were ways to cut corners and that your boss is now mad at you for it.
