Jaysis Jaysis Jaysis: Hugh Hefner wants to be a daddy
http://www.nydailynews.com/news/goss...p-302169c.html
Clawd Jesa. Why does this nearly 80-year-old, embarassing bachelor want to be a father again?  Hugh Hefner is pushing 80, and he's sired four children - one of whom, Christie, runs Playboy Enterprises - but he sounds ready to spawn again. "Holly and I have talked about that," Hef told me yesterday as he held forth in his trademark red velvet smoking jacket in a bedroom at the Peninsula Hotel. "I wouldn't reject it out of hand. I certainly think it's possible." As for grownups David and Christie, from Hef's first marriage, and teenagers Marston and Cooper, from his second, they won't be consulted. "It's not a committee decision," Hef said. Holly is 25-year-old Holly Madison, the first among equals of Hef's three very blond girlfriends - who are stark naked, soaped up and, in one photo, administering playful licks in the shower in a foamy pictorial for Playboy's November issue (which Hef and the threesome will autograph today at the Virgin Megastore Times Square). "I didn't entirely see it coming," Hef mused about Ms. Madison. "She's been with me now for a little over four years. I think this is probably for the rest of my life. This is serious." Hef's pneumatic companions - besides Holly, there's Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson - are the stars of "The Girls Next Door," E!'s popular reality show about life in the Playboy Mansion, seen through the eyes of his girlfriends. "It's exactly the same as being the girlfriend of any other caring guy," Hef explains. "This relationship is not unique, other than the fact that there are three instead of one." Other than that! But it looks like Bridget and Kendra - who, as Hef and I chatted, were in a nearby room, daintily eating pizza while Holly watched - are term-limited. Gone are the days when Hef could handle seven girlfriends at once. "I am slowing down - in my fashion," Hef said. Baby, maybe. But marriage, never. "Not because I don't care enough for her, but because I don't want to spoil the relationship," said Hef, who turns 80 on April 9. Why would marriage spoil things? "Why indeed? I don't know why. It has in the past. ... Holly made a comment once that in her dream, that five years from now it might be just the two of us. I think that's a real possibility." |
Pardon me while I hurl. :(

Move over |
You know I watch this show, and I think that this is just a contracted arrangement. For the first few episodes, I didn't even realize that Bridgette and Kendra were his girlfriends. I thought they were just playmates who lived in the house, posed for the mag, and made public appearances for Playboy. Holly is the only one who spends time alone w/him, and I'm not sure that he really sees her any different from the other girls. I've never even seen him really kiss any of them, more than a quick peck on the lips. I think he just indulges Holly because she up and caught feelings. More than anything it seems like a group of women that live in the mansion and accompany Heff out in public in order to promote the Playboy lifestyle, in exchange for hopefully one day making it into the magazine (which they just did). I really don't think its anything personal. However, I must say that in keeping Heff's image up, the girls are not allowed to date anyone else or to be out of the house later than 9PM w/o him. That sucks.

i have to wonder if it's worth it. these women are in the prime of their dating lives and they "chuck" that in to pamper this 80 yr. old wannabe 30-something "player" in his mansion. i mean, they are Playboy models, they're turning down potential dates for a show on the E! Channel.
interesting...but not enough to make me watch the show:p |
^^That's what I'm wondering, too.
I also wonder if those women have to...*putting it delicately*...ummm, "cuddle" with him? |

Just the thought of "cuddle".......Ok, move over so that I can hurl.... |
Y'all also have to look at these women being opportunists. He has an empire with Playboy. They probably figure that they can "play" with him for the next 5 years, hope that he'll die within that time span, and he will be generous enough to leave them a cut in his will. They don't care about dating others. If he passes in the next 5 to 10 years, they STILL have some time to date and do stuff. Holly KNOWS that if she has a kid, she is paid for life.
They probably don't have to sleep with him that much. I know that he is sleeping with them, but he might not be as much of a horndog in his old age. It's probably a trade off for them. It's like playing the lottery. If they play enough, for long enough, it might pay off one day. |

On the Playboy thing, I've seen the show a few times and what happens is that Hugh picks one of the three girls he wants to spend the night with. They have their own bedrooms and when it's time to go to bed, Hugh picks one of them and they...ya'll get the drift. |
Eva is Engaged to Henry
That was fast!!!!
20 year old Eva Pigford of UPN's 'America's Next Top Model' Reality Show recently became engaged to 36 year old Henry Simmons of NYPD Blue and is sporting a 5 karat diamond ring to prove it. Henry met Eva at a fashion show where the diva worked the catwalk and it was love at first sight, he said. "Eva is an intelligent business minded individual that I deeply love very much," he said. The couple are planning a spring wedding in California next year. Eva who came to fame in 2004 was a 19-year-old student from Los Angeles who had been criticized for her "diva" attitude earlier in the competition, was crowned 'America's Next Top Model' during the third cycle of the popular UPN "dramality" series. This win lead up to numerous Covergirl endorsments, magazine spreads and tv hosting jobs. Henry is one of three children born to a retired IRS agent and a former school teacher. One of his sisters is his twin. Simmons earned a basketball scholarship at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire. He graduated with a business degree and quickly went to work for a Stamford financial firm. He quickly realized that was not his calling. He started studying acting at night. He soon was sneaking away from work to go to auditions. He made his TV debut in a "Saturday Night Live" skit, replacing NBA star Derrick Coleman after he broke an ankle. He then got bit parts on several TV series. This led to a continuous role on the soap opera "Another World" and then to "NYPD Blue". While waiting for his breakthrough, he worked as a hotel bellman. |
