I believe it is Allie Simonds. I went through the New Member website recently (brushing up on Chi O history during winter break), and I think it said she was buried in the Congressional Cemetery.

Love from your sisters at Nu Alpha!

Well, rats! Now I have to remember where I got that idea. Do you know if she's buried in that cemetery right next to the campus?

HannahXO 12-30-2010 12:15 AM

I'll go with...
a.) The "33" is from at old address of the Executive Office in Cincinnati, 3300 Carew Tower and the "95" is from the founding of Chi Omega in 1895.

sounds good to me! haha

a.) The "33" is from at old address of the Executive Office in Cincinnati, 3300 Carew Tower and the "95" is from the founding of Chi Omega in 1895.

b.) There were 339,500 initiates of Chi Omega when ground was broken for the new HQ in 1992.

c.) There were 33 staff members employed when the building was dedicated in 1995.

d.) That's stupid -- there is no significance.

Ooooo...good guess, but no!

Mary Ann Mobley, Tau, was the 1959 winner of the Miss America pageant and the following year, crowned Lynda Lee Mead Shea.
