I agree with everything you said. AMC used to have some stability. There was always Joe, Kate, and Mona who would be the loving family.. unconditional love.

Struggles between Palmer (Pete Cooney) and Adam.

I miss Liza (they should have kept her on the show and rekindled the romance with Tad)

Now even Tad isn't fun anymore. He's a murderer and is dark and gloomy.

You're on the money... it's all sensationalism and crazy storylines. Every character is in the "co-ed" jail several times a year and in the hospital several times a year. It's really gone down hill. Bring back my old AMC!

Ahhhh, the good old days of AMC.

ETA: Gotta add Angie and Jesse. :D

A couple of other Rants

Where is Lily? They gave her this interesting story line, (independence and romance as an autistice person; the run in with the perver), then she just disappeared?! Leven Ramblin is a good actress and I thought she was even nominated for a best young actress award (Soap Opera Digest or Emmy)...now she's completely MIA!!

I can agree that Jonathan was too old for her...but they could have introduced a character (or resurrected Petey) for someone she can play off of. Why not bring back the PVU crowd and work it in that way?!!

They didn't even address Reggie leaving the scene....and he's JACK'S SON!! They didn't need to kill off Trevor to advance the Janet storyline. What fun woudl it have been to have "Uncle Porkchop" back on the scene with Amanda and Lily? They have just completely disregarded the history of the show, to its detriment! I wish this entire thread could get emailed to the writers at AMC!!

Do you really think she is going to run away with Little Adam AND with Josh? She is really going to be setting herself up for losing custody of Little Adam AND JR will definitely rat Krystal out with her being preggers...

bIueangel, I am so glad you mention them -- i LOVE them! And so glad that Bianca is there for him to help him through this -- must be a hard time for him and always good to have a friend. And I did not know that they were going to use real people going through this -- where did you read this? This is great. So glad AMC is going down this road.

A few spoilers (highlight to read):
Looks like Levin (Lily) is going to go missing, and a woman named Ava (dead ringer for Lily) is going to attract Aidan.

Krystal's baby may be named Jenny and kidnapped by Janet. Then another couple is going to try to adopt her and take her away from Krystal and Tad.

Greenlee is returning, and ruining things between Ryan and Annie.

Where did you read this confirmation? And we knew that Zoe would was going to be temporary thing -- I have really, really enjoyed her over the last few months. She has been such a great addition and so glad that we got to have her as long as we did. And did yall catch Zoe and Bianca kiss today? Whats going on??? :)

Dont know about you but I am LOVING Adam recently! Sooo fun to see him back to his old snarfiness!
