I've been a TOTAL geek. I'm keeping track of all the NPC groups represented during each rush (we're only missing like 6 of them now) -- and then seeing where everyone goes. It's totally cool. We need someone to post with an ASA and a Theta Phi Alpha at their school...I forget who else (wish I hadn't left this list at home!)

Then I got even geekier and started looking at the percentage of GC new members went to which group.

Chi Omega shows up the most (they've been in all threads so far but 1 or 2 so far) -- but pound for pound, Sigma Kappa is whoopin' everyone's butts when it comes to getting new members! 2 people last night -- go Sigma Kappa!

I can't wait to see how it turns out....

well we have 3 rushees coming up at schools w/ ASA chapters, so cross your fingers. in the spirit of evening things out mathematically, of course. :)

We need an Alpha Gam, too. I can think of 2 upcoming recruitment threads with Alpha Gam chapters (that I've seen), so I'm hoping we will be added to the list soon! :)

By my count, in order to complete the NPC (this year), we need:

In terms of *ever* having a PNM go somewhere... I personally don't remember ever seeing an AEPhi, ASA, AST, DPhiE, Phi Sig, SDT, or Theta Phi rush thread... But then, I've only been here a little over a year, so what do I know?

since the men seem to be so underrated in the rush forum, i'd like to say that my boyfriend and one of his best friends are now ACACIA pledges at LSU. he, as in the one that belongs to me, hasn't officially signed a bid card since he didn't go through rush, but the boys are coming after him pretty hard. he seems to be enjoying the attention, PLUS his grandmother offered to pay his dues! i guess he's not positive if he's going to do it or not, but i'd say there's a fair chance - he already goes to their meetings =) i'm happy for him because this group seems to be WAY more relaxed than the group he pledged (and then depledged) last year. he's not sure if the fraternity life is for him anymore, but he's going to give it a shot. aahh, i didn't mean for this to be so long...i just mean to say YAY for acacia at LSU!

OK I think I am finally caught up ... never leave GC for three weeks during fall recruitment! Thank goodness for this thread.
