I walked into court today (at work) and this was all the hearing officer could talk about. I made my "I'm exceedingly bored with the topic, please change it now" face and got 0 results. She just kept repeating how "disgusted and heartsick" she was over and over again as though my lack of an indignant cry was an indicator that I must not be hearing her properly.

I'm just over the whole thing. The justice system did it's job and I'm really not happy with the results but what are you gonna do? Thinking about the life that was lost makes me upset and, since I can't do anything personally, I'd rather talk about something less morbid.

Im sure this was totally literal. Like im sure the OP legitimately thought Casey would want to babysit her kids and not making a general statement. :rolleyes:
