The weight issue involving Janet Jackson continues. What made her gain and lose close to 70 pounds? The producers of the movie Tennessee want Janet to stop telling people she gained weight for their movie. They claim the part did not call for the actress/singer to gain weight. The role is now going to Mariah Carey. The producers want Janet to reveal she gained weight due to stress (the wardrobe malfunction, poor sales of her last CD Damita Jo, family crisis with brother Michael’s trial, being the breadwinner for the entire Jackson family and stories of a hidden child). They say just stop blaming them!

Simmons issued a statement through the network, which airs his reality show, "Run's House," saying his wife "is doing fine." He thanked his supporters for their prayers and condolences.

"On Sept. 26, 2006, Victoria Anne Simmons for some unknown reason chose to come early and unfortunately did not survive," his statement said. The baby was delivered at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, according to MTV spokesman Graham James.

Simmons, brother of hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, has five children. He was a founding member of pioneering rap group Run-DMC.
