Probably.
But your analogy only works if black people and white people retain those things that make them identifiable within their distinct ethnic and cultural groups.
For instance, I can often detect people of the Africa diaspora who have (especially more immediate) African and Carribean roots based on certain facial features. I can also detect people of Irish, Italian, German and Russian descent. However slavery, immigration and assimilation made it such that many people are unaware of their non-North American roots and/or are not easily identifiable as a distinct ethnic or cultural group.
Asians both American and abroad are more likely to retain distinct physical and cultural attributes.
