Missam05, I think your formula is pretty darn accurate. Hope American Idol knows they have probably lost alot of Minority/African American viewers behind this formula/theory.

Not impressed with either. But if I took the time to vote, it would be for BO. Carrie did not move me tonight.


Going back a little though, love me some Fantasia. Didn't like her performance on Idol a while back, but love that CD. If it was an album, I would be playing the vinyl off and need a penny to hold the needle down...LOL

Yeah I haven't even watched the DVR but I probably will tomorrow but honestly I don't really care who wins cuz it's not Baby V. My mom says she thinks Carrie will win. We will see!!

Carrie won...I guess Simon's predictions were right. I personally thought Bo should win.

BTW: Carrie sounded horrible during her closing song. (i know she was a little emotional but still....):confused:

Okay--all of y'all saying Bo, but didn't vote. Same with my daughter. She was around here cheering for Bo, but she didn't vote. Now she has the nerve to be upset. LOL

Carrie won because everybody and their mother predicated Bo would win, the betting was going in his favor, last week was practically his coronation with Clive Davis cooing over him, so FOX had to pick Carrie so that people won't know Idol is fixed.

I really wanted Bo to win, but that's okay. I think he will end up like Clay Aiken. Although he didn't win, he'll still end up being a superstar. I think Carrie will make a great country singer, but I don't know how much cross-over appeal she will have.

I couldn't get through on any of the 3 lines set up...or I should clarify - 2 hours of dialing & I got through a WHOPPING 3 times - the fix was on...let barbie win - she'll be the worst selling Idol ever (unless they discount her cd to .99 cents just to boost opening week sales).

Got my $$ to the side for Bo's cd whenever it comes out...(although I hope he doesn't solely depend on Clive - he's the man but he still hasn't done right by Ruben or Fantasia marketing wise) :rolleyes:

The show was too long-no need for yet ANOTHER recap of the years worst auditioners. I was flipping between Idol and Lost - I did enjoy one recap - did you all see when the young lady that massacered the National Anthem during the auditions? They showed the tape then raised teh curtain and she was there in person. She seemed so nervous & still couldn't hit any of the keys but at that point my stomach was hurting from me laughing so much.

I agree 100%.

I can't believe that Carrie won over Bo. I like country music, but I would never buy anything she puts out. She doesn't have the cross-over appeal like Shania has. She would be a one genre artist.

Bo could sing anything and be fabulous. I hate to say it, but I can't wait for him to outshine Carrie.

I hate that Carrie won, but Bo will have more freedom and control of what material he choses to sing and how his image is portrayed.

I don't think he would have lost rocker points. He has made some people like rock that had never really listened to any before.

Vonzell and Billy Preston was such a highlight for me last night:D
