The last two days have been hilarious! There are two younger players who just started accounts so they could slap the anti-slappers silly. I have seen so many grown women getting so angry about these two, I am dying! Someone actually used brownie points for cash yesterday so she could add one of them to the burn list for the nth time.

It's hilarious seeing women in their 30s and 40s spending BPs to burn two girls who can't be more than 20. And the one who had to be a 40-something who kept complaining about how the two girls needed to "get a life."

I have definitely discovered the very best thing about SL - the feed is pure comedy! I haven't joined houses with the two slappers (yet) but I have voted for them the past few days. :) I appreciate their entertainment value.

So which glam to I want to have the most of?

it really depends on your level (since some of the better glam doesn't come until the higher levels).

The best accessories to have are:
Mocha boots and the chocolate ankle boots (one has the best pop and the other has the best charm)

The outfit that is best to have is:
Flowered blouses for the lower levels
Rhinestone Vests and then the Sapphire Gown for the higher levels

The best ride to have is:
Hummer

Then of course you fight with 5x your level. So if you level fast you are constantly having to buy new glam.

To add to epchick's post, there are achievements for glam, one each for accessories, clothes and rides. I've been using them, working my way up in glam items so I could get each achievement. I'm a couple hundred shy of the platinum for outfits and accessories, but I'm working on it! The platinum for rides was just revealed, and at the moment the only way to get it is to buy 25 pink bugs with BPs - not going to happen!

At the bottom, right above the part that says "Chat box" there is a "Glam Calculator"

It tells you what you should have at what levels.

BUT you should note, it tells you the glam you need for being an attacker. If you are an attacker, you need good glam to attack, and good glam to defend since you're also defending against attacks.

If you are only an "organizer" (you mainly do events and your regular job as your 'income' and don't attack often or at all) you only need the glam with High popularity points.

For example, I'm a level 75, so it says:

► 375 Chocolate Leather Ankle Boots (Cost Total: $22,500,000)
► 375 Mocha Suede Boots (Cost Total: $30,000,000)
► 374 Dolce & Gabanna Tie-Front Gown (Cost Total: $39,270,000)
► 375 Silk Sapphire Gala Gown (Cost Total: $37,500,000)
► 1 Flapper Outfit (Stage A Musical Production)
► 375 Stretch Hummer Limos (Cost Total: $150,000,000)
► Overall Cost: $279,270,000

The Mocha Suede Boots & Silk Sapphire Gala Gown are needed for good attacks and don't offer high popularity points. Since I'm an Organizer, I only need the Chocolate Leather Ankle boots, and the Doce & Gabanna Tie Front Gown + Cars.

It's not really plausible to be able to afford 375 stretch HUmmer limos on the money i have in the bank right now, so I'm going to stick with the 300ish Escalades I have + my 3 planes + my 3 hummer limos and my VW Beetle. I'm not in a rush to buy the HUmmer Limos b/c some new cars are supposed to be released soon anyway.

The key is that each sister you fight with has to have an outfit, an accessory, and a ride. Since I'm a level 75, I need 375 of each because you can fight with 5x your level. So even if you have 500 sisters, you only fight with 375 at your level.

Ok, this is going to get interesting. There is a slapper vs. anti-slapper war brewing on SL. I've seen this message reposted I don't know how many times on my feed this evening:

xyz broadcast a message: "**URGENT** ATTENTION ALL NON-SLAPPING SISTERS** ... "REDDEVIL666 ID 1784966512" IS PLANNING ON GATHERING ALL PRO-SLAPPERS TO COME AGAINST US NON-SLAPPERS, WITH AVENGENCE!! BE PREPARED!! GATHER AS MUCH $$$ AS POSSIBLE AS IT IS GONNA GET REAL DIRTY SOON!! IT'S ALREADY BEGUN!! *YOU'VE BEEN WARNED* PASS"

The player mentioned has published a hit list of people she thinks deserve to be slapped. None of them are in my house, but most are once removed from my house so I see their messages when someone in my house replies on the feed. I'm going to enjoy watching this all unfold!

(And for the record, I do realize it's a bit pathetic for me to be this entertained by the "war" but hey, I'm unemployed and my husband is only home every other weekend. Waddya gonna do?)

I know EXACTLY who you are talking about. The player in question actually posted RL information about one of my sorority sisters (real life and sorority life sister). I changed my FB name to remove my last name because the user in question was voting for me (so the notification with my name in it would come up), and then attempting to contact me on facebook. Creep!!!!

How do we attack someone if we only know their SL name?

There isn't a search option but you can look up their "target ID" and find them that way:

If you're on Facebook, it's about the same too.

If someone attacked you, look in your news feed. Right next to their Username is their profile picture. Right click on it and select 'Properties'

A pop up window will come up.

The first line says "Image Properties" and there is a a loooooong URL under it that by "Location". Highlight it, copy it, and paste it into a notepad file.

There will be a part that says: "image.php?user_id=xxxxxxxxxx" (the xxxxxxxx represent numbers.

Copy the numbers after the user_id part.

Highlight & delete the x's. Replace them with the numbers of the user_id that you are trying to get.

Once you do that, hit return and it will take you to the page of the person who attacked you.

If you can't afford the best car for your level you should get enough cars to cover all the girls you are fighting with.

Like I mentioned before, I couldn't afford Hummer Limos for all 375 of the girls I fight with. So I have enough Escalades to cover them + the few Hummers, planes & VW Beetles I have.

Once I start getting more money, I can start selling my Escalades and upgrade to the Limos or whatever.

But ALL of the girls you fight with need A ride... any ride... preferably the ride with the most charm/pop, but they all need something

If you bank your money, does that mean it can't be stolen in a fight?

I always bank my money, because I'd rather lose the 10% banking fee than lose it to people in fights. But some people don't want to lose the 10%, so they take their chances.

Stopped by to ask if anyone else has tried adding random 'friends' in the past 12 hours or so? FB changed their settings, and I cannot figure out a way to add people to my SL list when I am adding them as a friend. I can add them to the list after they confirm the friend request, but that means there is a window between their confirmation and me getting online to add them to a list that they can see my entire profile, which bugs me a bit. I really hate that FB made that change...

Edit - ok, I'm getting two different screens when I add people now. Sometimes I don't get the option to add them to a list, sometimes I do. Maybe FB is just working out the bugs right now. I hope so!

If you bank money, yes that means it can't be stolen. But the bank of SL can only "guarantee" funds up to a certain amount. If you are a level 75, for example, it can only guarantee funds up to $75M. If you have more than that, the excess can be stolen in a fight.

I bank my money unless I know I'm going to be buying glam w/ it.

I try to avoid banking money and then taking it out soon thereafter because of the 10% it costs you to put it in the bank
