Myspace finally made an option to make your profile private - To be viewed only by friends - without having to set your age to 14! Just look in Account Settings-----> privacy settings
check the FRIENDS ONLY box.

Take yourself off 14 because I heard on the news that Myspace will be cracking down on people saying they are 14 and they are not due to pedophiles on here stating they are 14 to get into kids profiles that are 14......if you get caught your profile will be deleted.

MySpace.com, is trying to make it tougher for adults to communicate with younger people online. Wednesday, the company announced some new restrictions. Under the changes, MySpace.com users who are 18-years-old or over can no longer request to be on a 14 or 15-year-old's friends' list; unless they already know either the youth's e-mail address or full name.

Does anyone else get SPAM in their bulletins? I have friends/sisters/family members on my lists. For some reason I'll see "I got my FREE Xbox here! Holy S#&%!" posted by them. I don't click on them for fear that I'll open some JavaScript that will post unwanted bulletins under my name. Also getting a lot of bulletins from folks I know well that are just downright offensive. Then they'll post another bulletin saying "It wasn't me! I don't know who posted that."

Is it possible that my friends have had their profiles hacked into? Or is it something in their code that is doing this?

It just seems weird that there is this sudden increase of crap.

This is exact reason why I don't click the links in those bulletins. Sometimes they'll automatically send odd bulletins. My friend posted a bulletin one day and it was a not so nice racial aim at a certain race, and I was thinking "WTF is she thinking"? (especially since she is dating an Asian man) Then I saw someone else post it and was like ohhh something must be going on.

Anyone else getting bulletins with pictures of dead/aborted babies? Because really, it would be nice if I stopped getting them.

why do songs always get deleted? when i go back in for a search, its gone.

Not only that, but when I do a search, a lot of times the same song is posted 5 times... it would be nice if people would upload some different tunes.

It's weird how myspace is quickly replacing my email... I get more messages in myspace than I do in email now.

You know, if anyone has info on that, I want to know, too. My school isn't listed either, and I've done the contact form, but I keep getting random replies that have nothing to do with my request. When I asked about adding gov school, they sent me something about changing my password on myspace and my email to prevent hackers from getting into my account. When I mailed about an offensive pic, I got a message teaching me how to change the email I use for my myspace account. Bizarre!:confused:
