Gas has gone down to 2.98 p/g of regular. The low price gas stations are 2.87 p/g

I just saw premium gas on sale for $3.099/gal.

It's sad when you think that's a good price...

Yes, they are falling, surprisingly. Funny thing is that NONE of the excuses that caused the rise (Katrina, demand driven by consumer SUV purchases, unrest in the Middle East, etc) has changed! In fact, another hurricane heading towards the same general area of the Gulf AND the violence in Iraq continues to increase.

Okay, so WHY the hike in the first place? I REALLY want to know?! :confused:

This afternoon, I filled up with premium for $3.039/gal.

Twenty miles later, I saw a sign for $3.059/gal ... for regular.

Sunoco near me went down to $2.91 for regular. Let's see what happens when Rita brings her trouble making azz here.

Gas had just got down to about $2.50 and then Rita comes. It's already pass $3!:eek: :mad:

I didn't take any chances. I topped off at BJ's for $25 ($2.799 per gallon).

This morning I filled up in West Virginia for $2.39 at BP but just now near my mom's house in Cleveland, I shouted when I saw $2.05!!!! GLORRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

here in Cincy, unleaded as dropped to 1.98. i was in shock:eek:
i won't get too excited, it may go to 2.98...:rolleyes: you just never know...

Okay I notice I'm now paying $2.57 for regular, and it seems to go down every couple of weeks about 10 cents.....:cool:

I paid $2.37 today. So glad it's coming down.

Soror, come on to VA. I paid $2.27 the other day to fill up.
