Oh, I'm totally one of those people. My reason is because I only have 23 people in my house (I only add people who I know in real life). Most people at my level have over 200+, at least! And it's impossible for me to beat someone with that many sisters. So on the occasion when I finally do see someone that has a similar amount of sisters, I go to town on them. :D

I am so obsessed with the game, I'm on multiple times a day. I have a huge house and even have made friends with a Kappa Alum from Washington so it's been fun chatting with her =)

Another option I've figured out is recharging at the spa to go fight and earn influence points. I'm a Socialite, so my stamina rebuilds quickly, and I tend to have $9M - $11M in my bank at any time. I also have more than glam than I need in all 3 categories, so I win most of my battles.

Ever since they added the "mastery" to the events I've been enjoying the game more. I went from 600ish events to over a thousand in just a couple of days!

I opened up SR, and it was just confusing. It also looked similar, so I'm over it.

If you're on Facebook, when you receive a notification that someone voted for you, you click the link in order to claim your prize. The link will direct you to SL and there will be a vote button that you'd click in order to vote for all of your sisters.

If you're on Myspace, there's a tab @ the top that says "Mail" which has drop down options. You click on notifications and there you'll see that different sisters voted for you. You click on the "Accept" button and when it directs you to the app, you click the "OK" button when a window pops up saying "Congratulations, you collected your prize and voted for your sorority sisters!"
