I think proper fit and foundation is the key here.

Agreed; I'm in the same boat as Mel, and I've made fast friends with my tailor. I also think it's important to wear the right size/shape undergarments to your fitting. But that's another thread....

I've always loved pink and gold! When my parents had their 50th anniversary, they did the yawing gold and white, but added enough pink to really make things pop. Their friends who had celebrated theirs the year before said, "Why didn't we think of that?" I was glad that they didn't!
