I LOVED how Bo just jumped off the stage!!!!

Honestly, no one really stepped up tonight. The judges were right on. It was just so....boring.

HORRIBLE: Mikalah. "Son of a Preacher Man" has been done on every damn season of AI. I don't know why you felt the need to do what's already been done. Also, don't bare your midriff if you don't have a perfect one. Many AI contestants can get their votes based on looks alone...unfortunately you have none because you looked like a fucking Kewpie doll tonight.

THE SURPRISE: ConstanSCREAM. I haven't converted and I still don't like the guy, but he was actually pretty decent. I just didn't like how he felt like there was a need to molest the camera.

THE ONE I FEAR THE MOST: Jessica. I always get afraid that her boobs are gonna poke through the TV screen. I like her voice though, it's smooth.

Lindsey and Carrie continue to make me yawn every week.

Mikalah HAS to go home tomorrow.

Man... everyone must have been nervous or something. I dunno.

Jessica - I kinda missed. But from what I saw, she looked awful stiff. And I'm not a big fan of the song... or her jacket for that matter. She'll be safe because teenage boys won't be able to get enough of her... um... "assets." :rolleyes:

Anwar - I was waiting for him to blow a note out of the water... and it didn't happen. He's got a really pure voice and I dig that... maybe it was just the song. I thought Tamayra in S1 sang that isht out of that song back then... or am I thinking something different. Basically I was waiting for a glory note that didn't happen. Oh well. I still luv him.

Constantine - Was on tune. Sort of. Better than other performances. But he gets a nod as a theater boi and not a rock star that everyone wants to think he is. Therefore... HATE for being a poser... again.

Mehkelah - was WAY out of tune and that pink bra was all shades of wrong.

Lindsey - Ok... I never noticed how she makes these really WEIRD faces when she sings fast songs. It FREAKED me out. I thought she was going to puke. This girl will be gone faster than you can say "Julia Demato."

Clay 2.5 - I would have personally flown down to LA and gone Clay Aiken fan on him if TRIED to tackle "Solitare." I heard Neil Sedaka and spazed out for a minute. But I was relieved when he sang Ruben's signature song from that night. (HaHA...) Anyway... I wouldn't compare him to a guy at the end of a Xmas party, because generally guys are too drunk at the end of parties to sing "that" well. But he wasn't that fabulous. I don't get it.

Nadia - Again... I *heart* Nadia. I want that dress! And the girl could sing anything and it would sound good.

Bo - I've never heard that tune so I have no idea how it's supposed to sound. (Or maybe I have and don't remember.) But the showmanship won him brownie points. All that jumping and walking around didn't seem to tire him out so his voice still stayed strong. YAY BO! The REAL rock star.

Vonzell - Paging Trenyse. That is all.

Scott - wasn't that boring. He actually moved around. Not bad.

Carrie - I like her hair straight... but I didn't like the song. She knows who she is, as Simon said: she's a run of the mill girl next door that can't take risks because they are "scary." :eek: :rolleyes: I can't see why she was pimped. She needs to up the ante or something because I'm bored.

Nikko - YAY! There is cuteness on my screen. However, I see Charles Grigsbey's fate awaits you. Althought it would REALLY suck if he went home TOMORROW. Oh the Irony...

tonight was the first night that I actually watched the whole show

I was not impressed with the first 6 contestants.....most of them were really BAD, except Anwar....he was ok

I see what ya'll are talking about with Constantine (he is trying to do Eddie Vedder and NOT succeeding, please STOP)


Nadia and Bo totally KICKED ASS, I instantly had a crush on Bo, that is a real rocker and not losing integrity by being on this show, he is keeping it real. I loved that song...

Nikko - I sorry but I thought he was horrible

I actually agreed with what was said by the judges, I have peeked in & out of the show, but this was the first time for me to really watch an entire eppy.

My Commentary on Tuesday's Performances...
 

I missed the first ten minutes, so I don't have much to say about Jessica or Anwar. I like them both but, from the recap at the end, it didn't seem very special.

Mikalah - Terrible; she ruined a great song.

Constantine - Strong performance; proved that he deserves a spot in the Top 12 for his voice, not his looks. :rolleyes:

Lindsey - Why in the heck did this chick make the Top 12 over Amanda?!? She sucks.

Anthony - Terrible; bad karaoke.

Nadia - She has a good voice, but I greatly dislike her. She comes off to me like she has this "yea, I'm great and you better think so too" vibe.

Bo - Great song and great song choice; Gold star for Bo.

Vonzell - She does enough to get by, but like Simon said she'll be gone after Lindsay, Anthony, and Mikalah.

Scott - It was okay; I think I liked the song more than his performance of it.

Carrie - She may "know who she is in this competition" but she better step it up because (even though I like her) the last few weeks have been very boring.

Nikko - I like his voice but he was totally off last night...he was all over the place. He might last a few weeks until the crappy people go.

RECAP!!

Jessica - She was good, and one of my favs. I thought they were a little harsh on her. I called to vote for her, and I got through like 10 times in a row at 9:03 pm EST.

Anwar - He's good, but this song stank.

Constantine - I didn't think he was so bad this week, although I still want him out.

Mehkelah - EW! Thank you to another american idol contestant for ruining this fabulous song...last year it was that hawaiian girl (not jasmine, sorry OTW!) Please GO!

Lindsey - I liked her...but I know she's definitely in jeopardy.

Anthony - It was ok....he'll stay

Nadia - She was good, hated the dress...I think I'm just over this style of singing from past American Idols.

Bo - LOVED IT!

Vonzell - boring...and her dress was awful.

Scott - I hate this song...they use it every year. He was good though.

Carrie - I like her, but she is getting slightly boring. She needs to do something new.

Nikko - YAY NIKKO!! It wasn't perfect, but he had fun, and I liked it...voted for him for sure :)

Carrie didn't really impress me either, and like someone already said, she's getting boring.

One of the producers talked to Good Day Live and said that Mario wouldn't have been able to sign a record deal with anyone else until 3 months after the show was over (august) b/c after making the Top 12, all the contestants had to sign that. Just FYI.

Bo- He's the genuine article... Can really sing, and is a great performer
Carrie- Okay, maybe I'm biased. Has a really great voice, not so great stage presence.
Nadia- I thought last night was her best performance vocally. She's a good performer and a pretty good singer. But like someone else said, there is something about her that irks me.


Bottom 3:
Mikalah- Can't stand her. She can't sing. Please send her home soon!
Lindsey- Will probably go home tonight due to lack of fan base that some less talented contestants have. She has a pretty voice, but she hasn't really been showcasing it.
Anthony- He's boring, and really isn't that fabulous of a singer. But he'll stick around because he has the aforementioned fan base.

I don't like Constantine, but he was actually "aight" last night.
