Yeah, I HAVE to have a Pi Phi someday. The next 2 may go to Georgia or Auburn so I have a chance!

Okay, this is my first rush thread, and I can't believe I am addicted! I am new to GC, and this is just a blast! I really should be doing more important things, but am loving this . . . . Can't wait to hear what happens!!! Tomorrow doesn't come soon enough!!!

Hoping BC found a wonderul home like I did with Alpha Xi.

I want to do that so bad!!!!! My goal is 2 biological and then one int adoption, possibly from China. Of course, I am only 25 now and kids will have to wait until after my husband finishes his PhD and does his post-doc...so that's at least 5 years off! One of Brett's professors has a 5 year old girl that she and her husband adopted as a baby from China :) She is the greatest kid! She inspires me!

Anyway, you'll get your Pi Phi yet! It's bound to happen!:D

My aunt and uncle adopted a baby from China 2 years ago...she's the sweetest, brightest, funniest little girl. Good luck to Blazercheer...she's SO lucky to have a mom like you. Have you ever considered being a rush coach, carnation? :D

My favorite sorority sister & her husband adopted a daughter from Romania about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, Amanda was almost 4, had never been out of a crib, and only had ever drunk milk or orange juice. She's stunningly beautiful, but will never be able to live on her own.

That's one of the reasons Carnation is so special - to have raised thirteen children successfully!!

The parties are finally over! BlazerCheer said they were both gorgeous, the girls were sweet, the songs were beautiful, the tears were flowing...

Get this, the Chi Os paired her with Ballerina last. Lol!! What do you say to your sister? So they started talking about the doggie they just bought and finally got serious. These two who rode in the twin stroller together, potty trained together, cheered together...I wish I'd been a fly on the wall listening.

Now we wait until tomorrow at 11 AM and, I am not being cruel here, I don't know if I'll have Internet access until about 5.:( I swear to you all I'll get back to you as soon as I can once I hear the news; BC is supposed to call me at school when she opens her bid. I will bite her if she, like her sisters, is so excited that she forgets to call for hours!!

Can we know what the other house is?

They paired her with her own sister? Hmm...while I'm sure the intentions were good, something about that idea just rubs me the wrong way. :confused:

Ahh! I love rush threads! I'm so glad I came back to GC just in time! Good Luck to BlazerCheer... I hope no matter what house she chooses, she finds a home and lifelong friendships like all of us here on GC have found in our respective organizations!

Aw that's so cute she was paired with her sister! Now I'm secretly hoping she goes Chi-O just so the twins are together! Hope BC gets who she wants tomorrow!!!

i am so glad that she enjoyed pref!!! i would love to go to pref at an alum's house. we had pref in classrooms on campus...picture lots of white sheets to cover up the blackboards and lots of christmas lights to make up for the fact that we couldn't use candles! it was beautiful, but i can only imagine how beautiful b.c.'s prefs were!

i can't wait for bid day!!!

btw, if we continue posting to this thread at our current rate, it will be as big as wishnhopin's thread!!! lol

I glad she enjoyed Prefs; I know 11am est cannot come fast enough. I can't wait to see where she ends up!! It would be neat if she gets Chi O. :D

I am so glad that she had a good nite at pref. I think its so good that she was paired with her sister at the end how cute :) I hope that she ends up exactly where she wants to be...which Im very sure that she will :D I cant wait to hear how it all goes!!!
