^^^I was in the market for a new tote of some sort a few months ago, and I got the same reviews from people when I asked about them.

The canvas and stitching isn't the problem. Unfortunately the motif fabric (the band on the top) is a silk, the same that their silk ties.

I bought a Kappa bag back in 2007. The motif fabric has held up pretty well but I did fraycheck it the instant I saw wear. My daughter obtained her Pi Phi tote at the same time but she didn't fraycheck it and it is somewhat worn. Our motif was just a dark blue background with light blue fleur-de-lis as the chapter that ordered it wanted to market it to alums as well as actives. I think the Pi Phi bag had little letters and carnations and even another design.

Shes a bit pricy, but I love her designs!

I already saw a huge push for SC, but really...what's the point? That's like Ralph Lauren offering school activity prints and the equestrian team requesting one.

The prints are already designed as part of the "State of Mind Patchwork" pattern. http://www.lillypulitzer.com/section/Shop-Prints/9.uts

Looks like they are voting after all - 6 were revealed today: VA, FL, GA, NC, SC, and MD.

Those are the states I kind of think about as "Lilly Country" anyway.

The chapter I advise is currently featured on the Lilly blog: http://blog.lillypulitzer.com/2012/0...on-university/

I'm not really a Lilly person, but I am thrilled to death with how damn cute they look.

I need your collective expertise. I need a dress by Saturday for a themed event. The theme is Derby, but I can't wear my derby dress because we will be with the same group of people. Saw a cute Lily on ebay but don't know how the sizes run. In other sizes I wear a 2 or 4, the 4 due to bra size. Can someone give me ball park on the size estimates? Thanks.

I'm in the same position as you, although probably a bit heavier, as I can go from a 2 to a 6 due to bust size, but I always wear a 2 in Lilly. Their sizing chart is actually very accurate.

Thanks NUKaydee!

Has anyone bought a LP planner? I need a new one for next school year and have struggled the last few years to find one I like. Many of my past planners are difficult to turn the pages with the rings or the pages tear. Lilly planners are more expensive than I usually spend, but if they are decent... Are they worth it?

I am on my second one and I love it! I actually find it quite reasonable for what you get - there is a ton of space in the week pages, 2 sets of calendars (I use one for work and one for personal), and the other areas are a bonus, as well!

I love my little one, although I do wish I had gotten the bigger size.

Two of the active officers at the chapter I advie carry Lilly planners and I'm getting one, because I think, after seeing theirs, that I've finally found the "perfect" planner. I'm pleased that they offer it in a soft cover now; makes it easier to pack/carry.

Only decision now: which print cover to pick?

And, it's Aug 12-Dec 13 so what do I do in January 14? Oh I'll figure it out then, I suppose.

I'm obsessed with mine. I have the large one and it's amazing.

Need. Need now. All of it. Mostly because this poor college kid can justify spending $16 on a tumbler much more easily than I can justify spending $88 on a scarf, no matter how attractive and well made said scarf is...
