I believe Chaos at one point set a threshold of around 200 posts. Am I remembering that right? (and if it's why you're asking, don't worry, PT, I don't think you qualify as a n00b anymore ;) :))

I wish those three would post more often. I'd really love to read a sheetcake recruitment story. Could you imagine the pictures for that thread? And sheetcake rating GLO's based on what desserts they served?

And I think when Fall 2008 starts, Chuck Norris needs to post about recruitment from the other side. Roundhouse-kicking sense into helicopter moms. Cutting girls who were not willing to name their first and second born "Walker" and "Texas Ranger"...literally cutting them.

Wow, you really have some mind problems!

If you haven't beeen there then take your foot out of your mouth!

Have you ever seen a life snuffed out, or maybe even saved a life?

Have you ever worked a beat or just watched it on TV?

Seen a person die in a firey car wreck and could not get to him because the car blew up?

How about putting a mush body in a bag?

Had blood all over you from trying to save a human?

Almost had to deliver a baby?

Defend yourself or some one else from being killed?

You don't have a clue do you?

I dunno.... I'm not convinced Tinia isn't a sock puppet. :)

Why is it a big deal to have smak downs?

Oh, I guess just dumbness!

It probably is.

I'm always suspicious of newbies who slide right on in there with no connections to other GCers.

Honestly, there are like two other noobs who are giving me "Nikki and Paulo" teas from LOST. It's like wait, why are you fitting in like everyone knows you? Yeah, you'll be gone soon.

Because it's always entertaining to see people open up a can of whoop-ass. Especially if it's in a drunken stupor.

And no, you misspelled "smack" :P

Only in the eye of the beholder isn't it?:D

Oh yes, I guess I am in a drunken stupor at the moment according to some of the finest and proudest of swells on a once fine site!:)

Maybe I should have said Smuck Down!;):D

Oh yes, I do love the smilies, that is why they are there!!!!!

It is called lurking on the internet!

It is logical that some of us will be familiar with certain members and issues on this message board.

Please cool it with the accusations!

Umm, no. Not really.

I know a lot about the dynamic on this board, but no one has ever accused me of being a sockpuppet. Know why? Because I don't act crazy. There's lurking, then there's acting like a crazy sockpuppet. They are two wildly different things.

At least lurking is allowed here.

On other Greek sites *cough*batshit*cough*, you get banned for lurking. Guess lurkers make some site admins paranoid!

I don't know that post count really matters CG....I've been on here for a long time and my post count is pretty low.

Anyhow...GC smackdown? Hmmm, I guess if I don't have to pick one to win I would say Craig in any of his various incarnations(UFpike etc...) vs. Chuck Norris.

Oh, that was a sidebar. :o I was referring to the fact I'd been here 2.5 years and was still being called a "newbie."

And I just thought...I'd like to see all the reincarnations of BlueAngel fight each other. It'd be like the sequel to Identity.

I wondered about that! I went to HPRL for the first time in months yesterday, saw one thread, then got the message that I had been BANNED. Without ever having registered to begin with!

I wonder what all the hapless PNMs and HMs will do if they can't read all the friendly advice?
