Thanks for making my day a little brighter. I needed a chuckle. I've been missing out on all this drama so I'm trying to catch up.

I'm mildly ashamed to admit that at one point I owned most of these Ponies, and actually still have some of them.

And why do I miss all the good threads?

icelandelf 09-03-2008 10:36 PM

I've been spammed!!!

No I was Not
I did not get the other post removed..you should refresh and see that I made no hateful comments. I even apologized and asked for help. I was tagged as a "helicopter parent" and therfore dismissed.

Not Me
I am not the one who closed this post. Nor was I before. Look and read and you will see.

Drolefille 09-04-2008 12:05 AM

Can i get a GC pager anyone?

Seriously. I've lost all my good e-timing.

If someone wouldn't mind updating me on the relevant portion of the first post in this thread, that'd be great. (I'm sure you can guess which it is that I mean ;))

Believe it or not, there are actually thousands of MLP collectors worldwide. There are almost 900 vintage MLP listings on ebay right now.

Troll Buster 09-04-2008 01:48 AM

To Kansas City in reply to your PM so I don't hijack someone else's thread,

Get a life. You were told repeatedly by members of GC that the questions you were asking in ASTalumna06's thread about their recruitment dealt with PRIVATE membership selection issues. Though you were told repeatedly by members here on GC that what you were asking was MS related, you persisted until YOU did the classic internet flounce. Then you got pissy b/c I mocked you (Oh! The horror of being mocked on the internet) about your internet flounce. Later, you responded to my comment in that thread and told me to grow up so I responded to you about growing up since you saw it fit to return to a thread after you threw a tantrum and left.

Then it gets better! You PM me telling me to take my issues to PM instead of posting them publicly for the world to see and not hijacking someone else's thread. Thus, I am posting this in the appropriate thread so I don't hijack her thread. Happy now?

Be happy I'm not being an uber-bitch by posting your PM here but I can. :)
It's the internet. If you don't like how I post or what I post, feel free to put me on Ignore. That's what it's there for. Grow a thick skin and stop getting so defensive over what people post on the Internet.

Thank you and have a nice day.

I'm curious.

That thread was pissing me off. I don't know how many people told her she was asking about something that is private, and nonna her beeezwax.

Drolefille 09-22-2008 06:34 PM

Ha.

You're telling me. She apparently just doesn't get a freaking hint. Then she PM's me about being "insulting", "critical", "rude", and gave me friendly suggestions about thread hijacking. ;)

Threads can only be hijacked if the posters allow them to be. :)

I do have to say that I had a good laugh at the n00b telling the 6 year GC veteran to "DO YOUR RESEARCH". I don't get a lot of GC time anymore, so that was totally worth the price of admission. Thanks for a great night, everyone. And by everyone, I mostly mean OTW and Tippie, with a special private appearance by 33.;)

Wow, I am WAY late to this party. Sorry I missed the fun :p This whole working overnights, sleeping during the day thing is seriously messing with my GC time... :(

Benzgirl 11-10-2008 11:29 PM

I had to take a walk down memory lane and read the thread all over again.

agzg 11-18-2008 06:41 PM

An angry PM from a poster who got flamed for blatant abuse of the English language titled:

"Thanks your awesome."

I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.

ETA: Wow a second PM in an hour - I guess I really ticked this nutter off!

I wonder if she also thought her dog could pledge or attend initiation.

Well she did tell me that she would never want to be our sister. So I guess we can put that fear to rest.

Dude we're not at UCSC, so I guess it is our loss.

Our condolences Kappa and Theta...

Feel better!

Also, Kappa and Pi Phi are the Monmouth Duo. Kappa and Theta are the 1870 Duo, or "Kite & Key."

I wonder what Kappa and Gamma Phi could be. Perhaps the "Two Shades Of The Same Color Duo"?
