36, initiated in graduate chapter in December 2000.
I felt it was the right time for me. Mainly because I came in with nine other great, hard-working women. |

All you have to do is some simple math to figure out how old you were when you crossed.;) |

I just want to thank you ladies for this thread. For the past 2 years now I've been feeling down because after my freshman I wasn't able to go back to a unversity that had the sorority I've been interested in and has had my heart for years now. DST. soon I'll be stationed in GA or AL in the Airforce. I've already began looking into colleges by base that have my major and definitely a DST chapter. I'm not giving up on my education nor my dream, but i've been worried about not being able to pledge while in the Airforce. I just want to say that this was confirmation to me that nothing can stop you it's never to late. I pray everynight that the Lord bless my with the desires of my heart so I know that DST is somewhere in the future for me, but I just have to stop thinking about when in the future. Even if I'm 50 I can make it! Thanks again Ladies
GOD BLESS! |

Nineteen =)

I was 19 during most of my process and turned 20, likely the worst birthday of my life... Although I was blessed with the best gift i'll ever know.
My LB was a freshman barely 18. Im glad I was able to spend time getting to know my yard and my chapter better than him. (Imagine what kind of mess I may be in if my interest was inspired by national websites alone!) |
I was 32 when I crossed and turned 33 two weeks later. And it really was perfect timing!!!!
