That bums me out that Richard got cut, he was the cutest nerd I've ever seen! And Twilley gives me the willies, yuck! I'm glad Ron is gone cuz he was an asshole about Jeremy (though I agree his opinions were pretty right on about him). Jesse doesn't seem like her type either but I think she thinks he's "fun" and keeps him around and maybe that's why Twilley is still around. I'm not sure why she thinks Graham is so hot (I disagree) but their date last week seemed nice enough. Paul is too young, and I'm sure he'll be fine finding some other girl. This too is waiting on my DVR :D Can't wait to see Deanna get pissy with the boys! |
I thought the date with Jason was awesome too!
I'm kinda bummed that Brian isn't standing out more. Twilley still just creeps me out a bit. Something about him isn't right. |
Yeah, I agree with most of what everyone else said. Ron was whining so much about the competition. Jeeeez! I think Jeremy is cute! He's being a jerk, though, for sure.
I <3 <3 <3 Jason! I was surprised that she was so ok with his son, but it seemed pretty sincere (you know, considering it's reality tv...). It seems like she goes back and forth on Graham every week. Maybe he'll be cut next time. |

I missed it. :(
Does abc.com post episodes? |

ITA about the CW. I try to catch episodes of Smallville (featuring the afternoon delight known as Tom Welling) and CW.com always messes it up. |
ITA?
Yeah, I stopped watching America's Next Top Model after getting an episode or 2 behind because it wasn't posted online. Sorry, off the tangent now! |

Ohhhhh wow!!! Fred AND Robert left? Ahhhh!
|
My thoughts for this week:
Robert: UGH. He really reminds me of a sleazy ex that I have (have I mentioned this before)? Everything about him this week reeked of nasty to me. First off, the popped collar and swaggering about. That was a pretty stupid trend in the first place, and it's like three years over now. Nasty. Nasty unbuttoned shirt. I do think there was something edited out in regards to his weird behavior at the BBQ, but it still sounds like he was a random a-hole even with some weird gossip going on. I loved his confidence at the 2-on-1 date and that he got shot down. LOL. He was always talking about sex and stuff and he couldn't even move in for the kiss smoothly. LOL. He sort of reminds me of the "Ladies' Man" from SNL. Fred: What a big teddy bear! I am kinda crushed that she cut him. I think that Fred and Richard would have been my top two if I were her! Graham: This is making me laugh because he's sooooo not into her. He does something to piss her off every week and then tries to make up for it at the rose ceremony party. She is so into him and it's really blatantly obvious that she wants to get into his pants. It reminds me of a girl in high school who's popular but maybe not quite popular enough, or maybe just a bit too naive, to date the REALLY popular guy. Brian: I know that a lot of people were rooting for him but I never totally saw the attraction. He seemed well-spoken and carried himself well, but I was really turned off when he wore the "Home Wrecker" tee shirt to the BBQ. First off, message t-shirts are nasty on men. Second off, why something like that - I even think a few message shirts are cute or cheeky but that one's just sleazy. And WEARING IT TO THE BACHELORETTE? DUDE. Sean: I don't know what it was, but he was looking cute to me for the first time this week. I know he got rid of the mullet last week, but for some reason he looked a lot better this week. I think it's the combination of the mullet removal and more screen time or something. But I was thinking he looked kind of hot at points. If still socially awkward and obsessed with his own masculinity (martial arts master, stock car racing, etc.). Also stupid that he thinks they have some kind of amazing connection just because she lived in Kentucky for a little while. Twilley: I don't totally get why he's still around but he seems fun if pretty weird. I don't hate him as much as some people do. Looks like from the "coming next week" shots that his time might be up soon. Jeremy: Is SO boring to me. I feel that he's fading to Deanna too. He is not very attractive and super-blah. yawn. Jesse: I don't get him and Deanna. Not that he's a bad guy at all... but I don't get them together. I know she says he's not her type but he's convincing her, but I don't see them lasting long term. I also really hate his hair. I'm actually not totally against longer hair, but the style he wears was the one that was cool when I was a freshman and sophomore in high school (parted down the middle, longish)! It's hideous! Too bad he didn't decide to get it cut before Ron the barber left--it was a good choice for Sean. (And just noting that at least Sean's mullet is somewhat stylish these days in certain circles - when I was living in Europe last summer everyone had one.) Jason: I know he's a fan favorite but something still seems *off* to me about him. I guess it's partially the fact that he's a single dad but he's sort of whoring himself out on TV and also whoring his son out to some extent. I guess the other side of that is that it might be better than regular dating and bringing different women around or something - just doing it all in one fell swoop. Anyway, I do feel that he and Deanna are right for each other and really clicking. After the interaction they had after the 2-on-1 date, I really feel that he will be the final guy standing. Deanna: OMG. She turns me off so much. Granted, Robert WAS acting like a d-bag. The thing I don't think the guys realized was that her insane rant was really less about Robert and more about the fact that Graham had refused to kiss her the day before. (Yes, Robert had said he was reluctant to put himself out there because of rumors she already knew the final 3, but her rant was about people worrying about her kissing other guys, etc., etc., i.e., it was all about Graham.) That performance was ultra-childist and selfish and almost unbelievable. How old is this woman? 26? I'm 25 and while I flip out sometimes it's by myself, or with my girlfriends or something like that. She really seems to lack maturity to me. I really feel she's just desperate to be married, but at the same time, she really seems to be basing her decisions on the show on sexual attraction. I really don't like this woman but at least she's cut away the more decent guys already. Quote:
I truly should have kept a log of the "MOST __________ EVENT EVER!"s from this season. I know there was at least one already. |
Phrases I could live without ever hearing again:
"I know how ya'll feel..." "I've been there..." "I'm here for you..." "...put yourself out there..." Ugh. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. I was thinking that Brian's t-shirt was rather cheeky. He gives me a construction worker vibe and it would be funny if that's where "Home Wrecker" comes from. Heh. I amuse easily. :o And yes, I admit I was hot for teacher. :o:o:o Robert was sleazy and greasy. Eww. And how long was that exit scene in the limo? Geez. I thought he would never stop mumbling. Fred, my boy I think you dodged a bullet. Deanna is kind of nuts. Okay, I am lost on the appeal of Graham. She called him "smoking hot." Really? |
Richard was in the local paper this morning. They've decided that they can find someone local for him. You can find the article and where to send your info to www.pressconnects.com Does every 'reject' have to go through this?
|
Yeah, I totally think Graham isn't that into Deanna.
|
You know Deanna, you don't HAVE to kiss the guys. I know it's fun and all, but don't whine about it if you're going to keep doing it.
I love that the "outhouse" is like a sorority house with more (maybe?) beer and less shirts and LOTS of drama. |

A lot of people thought Brian was hot and I really didn't. I guess this is shallow, but I think it had a lot to do with the graying hair. |

I'm a bit skeptical of next week's Deanna Tells All. I prefer the regular episodes. :P Is home town dates next or is there one more round before that? |
I think there is another round before hometown dates. And I'm glad she's opening up about Richard, at least she sounds like she recognizes that he was a catch! You know he's got dates lined up now! So hot for teacher.....
|
I think it's strange that they are having the summary show with DeAnna. It seems early in the season for that. The preview for the regular show (immediately following) is the thing that got me. The host is standing in front of the guys who look like they're ready for a rose ceremony and he says "You're expecting to see DeAnna. That's not going to happen. Her mind is made up." I'm sure the context isn't what the preview leads us to believe, but I'm curious about what the true context is.

Well, I read some spoilers since then.. in white to protect those who don't want to read..
The message boards on abc.com are saying that Graham writes her a "Dear DeAnna" letter and goes home but they don't want to show that on the show so they make it seem like she just picked him to go home without a rose ceremony or that he had to leave for a family emergency so a rose ceremony isn't necessary. They are just speculating though. One person speculated that she didn't want to attend the cocktail party prior to the rose ceremony because of this so there will be a rose ceremony, just no cocktail party. We'll have to watch Monday to find out for sure! |
I just saw Jason at Target an hour ago!!! I told y'all he lives just down the road from me! He had his son with him. Jason's just as cute in person.

I totally didn't click on this thread earlier because I thought it would give something away for those on the west coast! *ahem!* I can't believe Sean went home! I totally thought she'd pick him over Jesse. Oh well, at least Twilley is no more.

Jesse: AWKWARD on the not-kissing thing. I'm still not totally sold on him, although strangely he and Deanna do seem to have a lot in common. Jeremy: is hideous to me. I know he's got a body but I find his face HIDEOUS and his personality dull. I thought the Sinatra date was blah. Jason: his star is rising. I can see him as the final guy. He's open and honest without being lame like Jeremy. Twilley: I think even he knew that getting this far was a joke for him... I really don't understand why he stayed and Brian went home last week. Graham: the douche meter is rising. This week he seemed completely and totally fake to me. Sean: I had mixed feelings on him this week. I really hated the life background story where we found about his Hummer, his ugly McMansion home, his ridiculous clothes closet, his facial products, his in-home tanning area and sauna, and what else am I forgetting...?? his general lameass conspicuous consumption. At the same time, I thought he was really sweet and cute on his date - if at times he did seem to be moving too fast. Maybe that's what turned Deanna off. I am also calling nonsense on skipping the cocktail party because she already made up her mind. Why didn't we just skip this entire week, because she'd probably had her mind made up since the LAST rose ceremony. How much could a cocktail party really lead someone on? Ready for the crazy drama of next week! |
I would have gotten rid of Jesse ages ago, but that's just me, I guess... I can't deal with his hair. Even in a tux, he always looks rumpled because of his hair.
Jason is the only one I really like. Apparently the spoiler I posted was way off, so who knows where that came from... unless it's next week? |

I think he jumped ahead of himself on that date. |

I like Jesse. He seems like a lot of fun.
Jeremy and Graham are identical to me. And boring. And not all that. Jason is still my favorite for DeAnna. They don't seem awkward together at all. I'll be curious to see what she thinks of Seattle, it being so far away from her home. Sean's background piece was a total turnoff. Dude has a closet two times the size of mine, has a big house for just himself, his own tanning booth and sauna, an over-the-top Hummer, a skin care regimen, and, apparently, a major inferiority complex. But the part that really freaked me out was him saying he talks to or sees his mom 2-3 times per day! They even showed that clip of him leaving his place and driving over to his mom's, where she answered the door crying because she missed him so much. Just too creepy. |

Team Jason! (cuz Richard was sent home)
|
Here's an interesting interview with Twilley where he mentions that he's in a fraternity (mention is toward the end):
http://www.realitytvworld.com/news/b...omack-7307.php Anyone want to do some research and see what GLO he was in? I think he comes off really well in the interview. Yeah, he's kinda out-there, but I believe he's perfect for somebody. What are everyone's thoughts on tonight's episodes? I'll keep mine to myself for the moment 'cause I need to get to bed, but I'll come back later and comment. |

And OMG how cute were Jason and his son? Awww! |
I was so glad she sent him home. I was afraid she was going to be stuck in some dysfunctional ongoing relationship with him where she kept trying to pry him open. I think this was a case of "He's not into you", but I don't know why he stayed, if that was the case. I can't stand Jesse's hair. I don't feel like I know Jeremy well (although I missed the first half of last night's episode.. have to watch it on DVR still). I like Jason best of those who are left.
|
You know, I keep wonder what "professional basketball" team he plays for. I didn't think there was much of a market for short white guys who can't shoot baskets! He missed all but one shot! haha!
Jeremy seemed really nice last night. It made me cry when he talked about his mom dying. |
