Madeline L'Engle's books also have a lovely blend of religion and philosophy worked into them. She's a cool Lady.

Oh, I adore Madeline L'Engle! The Wrinkle In Time quadrilogy (is that what you call a set of 4 books?) is the best. A lot of people don't even know about the 4th one, Many Waters.

The Narnia books are incredible. I read Prince Caspian with the kids in my ESOL class and they loved it! Their grade is going to go see the movie when it comes out next month. The first book and the last are some of the best works in Christian literature.

Those were some of the first "adult" (outside of the children's section) books that I read! I love them and to this day they are still some of my favorites!

Have you seen the Hallmark movies based on the books? The first one had Katherine Heigl in it!

I've never seen them, but I saw a commercial recently for them. One day I hope to actually watch them.

So now I'm hooked to the Left Behind series. I just finished the first book in the three volume pre-quel of the series.

I am getting ready to start the second one, The Regime.

Wow! I didnt realize how fast I was moving through the series. I've now completed all three pre-quels and am now half way through book six, "The Assassins." I cant slow down! It's like an ever running movie and I have to keep reading to find out what happens next!

Dude, seriously.

The only question you asked was whether the Bible is "true or false" (or whether it is "fiction") - unless you count the interjection "Stranger than fiction?" to be a real question, but I can't imagine it was anything but rhetorical.

This isn't really a point for discussion for the following reasons:

1 - wrong thread (not even close to the thread's intent)
2 - it is a false dilemma (there are other options than "true or false" or "fiction or nonfiction")
3 - it is unnecessarily pejorative (depending on where you start, one assumed side is actually offensive to the other)
4 - there's no discussion, just non sequitur

Additionally, "Little minds are in the eyes of the beholders" is just surreal in terms of comedy, irony and being cryptic, but that's neither here nor there.

So either post better and resolve those 4 problems, or don't act like everyone else is the idiot. At some point, Occam's Razor dictates that it can't. be. everyone. else.

Funny, never answered the question?

Is the Bible a truism or just a book that has been changed over the years?

If you can answer that question then you are a numero of all!

As far as I can see, there are no answers to those or any questions?;)

I just finished Tracie Petersons' "Lady of Hidden Intent", and I must say it is one of the best works of period fiction I have read in sometime!

I am actually going to take a break for a bit and read some non-fiction! I just got "Escape" by Carolyn Jessop from the library.
