EFF starbucks and their nomenclature. i love the dunkin donuts commercial jingle... "is it french, is it italian... is it fritalian" i have no freaking idea what half their menu is, and im surely not going to order regular coffee and pay more than necessary.

i do remember when they sold "short" which is what, 8 oz? who drinks 8 oz of coffee? well, if they sold it, i surely would - i cant even finish a tall anymore.

but my Starbucks drink of choice is:
Caramel Macchiato (which i cant stomach anymore, too sweet and milky)
Pumpkin Spice Latte (same as above)
Passion Fruit Tazo (i like it a little better iced, but do drink it hot, currently drinking it now. since i found out you can buy it at the supermarket, im not paying $4 for iced tea i can make at home)

there was this one Frappuchino i liked back then but i dont think they make it anymore (maybe it was banana?). and also, our meal plan dollars in college could be spent on Starbucks, so i could order whatever the heck i wanted - it was great!

my drink now is a tall Americano, a bit of half-and-half and 2 Splenda. but it also made me violently ill yesterday so... i may have to ixnay that!

p.s. theres this new Honey Latte... that ish is GROSS!

I like chai lattes, too, though I'll often just buy some Oregon Chai at Costco or the supermarket and just microwave it :)

I may have a new favorite.

Today I had the Iced Honey Latte with skim milk. DELICIOUS!!!

By the way, it makes me happy to see another San Antonio person on here! :) I'm sure there are a few, I just haven't met them.

What?!? I've tried ordering it more than once at more than one location and they tell me it's not offered. That's why I started ordering the White Chocolate Mocha; it was recommended as the next nearest thing. They're holding out on me! :mad:

Hmmm...well, it can't be that different from a white chocolate mocha. The ingredients are the same, right? Espresso, milk and white chocolate sauce? Or are there additional ingredients in it, like vanilla syrup? You could always try ordering the base of the drink (say, an espresso macchiato) and then ask them to add a pump of white chocolate. Just because they don't have that custom beverage on their little menu screen doesn't mean they can't make it...you just may have to get more customized with your drink, like us annoying Seattlites do :) Example: Starbucks customers have been ordering nonfat sugar free vanilla lattes for years, but now Starbucks has come out with a drink they call the "Skinny Vanilla Latte" which is THE EXACT SAME THING. Only now baristas there probably get confused when people come in and ask for a skinny latte, because a lot of people just use "skinny" as a term for nonfat milk.

Raspberry Hot Chocolate! Like the winter-special Peppermint Hot Chocolate (which I also love), but raspberrier!
